This is not a professional tour
The title of this tour is misleading. Viator should be ashamed for listing it as a bus tour when it is actually a Chevrolet Express van. Secondly, although we were not last to board the van, my mother and I were given assigned seats at the ends of the rows where you tip over as the van leans into the bend. This was an uncomfortable seating position for me and my 72 year old mother, especially as we were not the last to board the bus. There was also a sort of duct tape on parts of the dash which concerned us about the condition of the van. Now, the tour was listed as multilingual and that’s fine, but when someone speaks for 10minutes in Russian and 1 minute in English it feels very unbalanced. The so-called provided breakfast for day 2 had no meats available and was just an array of breads and cereals provided by the hotel. The pros are that we did ride the Maid of the Mist, the Wyndham Garden was a clean hotel, and the tour was done in a timely fashion.
Response from the operator: Dear Deaundra and Freda, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback with us. We appreciate your compliments regarding our timely schedule, the cleanliness of the Wyndham Garden hotel, and the Maid of the Mist experience, as well as your constructive critiques. We would like to gently clarify a few points regarding your journey: • Vehicle Type & Seating: Our tour descriptions specify that the type of transportation utilized (bus, minibus, or van) is determined by the total number of travelers for each specific departure. We always aim to ensure a smooth boarding process, and we sincerely regret that the assigned seating configuration felt uncomfortable for you and your mother during the turns. • Multilingual Guiding: Our tours are designed to accommodate an international group of guests, which is why they are conducted in a multilingual format. We apologize if the time distribution between languages felt disproportionate on this trip; we have shared this note with our guiding department to ensure a more balanced and synchronized commentary moving forward. • Breakfast: The breakfast on Day 2 is a continental option provided directly by our hotel partner, which typically focuses on grains, fruits, juices, and baked goods rather than hot meats. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. We take your observations regarding the interior details of the vehicle seriously, and our maintenance team will look into the dashboard presentation immediately to ensure our high standards are met. Thank you again for choosing our tour. We wish you both the very best in your future travels. Best regards, Customer Care Team MARCO POLO USA Inc.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Niagara Falls.
How much does Niagara Falls (US) - 2 day guided tour from New York & New Jersey cost?
+
Prices start at $430 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Niagara Falls usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Niagara Falls (US) - 2 day guided tour from New York & New Jersey take?

+

That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Niagara Falls, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Niagara Falls (US) - 2 day guided tour from New York & New Jersey?

+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Niagara Falls (US) - 2 day guided tour from New York & New Jersey?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Niagara Falls can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Niagara Falls and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+

What are the best things to do in Niagara Falls?
+
Niagara Falls on the US side means Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds, Goat Island walks, jet boat runs and combination trips across to the Canadian side. Passport requirements on cross-border tours are the thing to check first. On Outty we rank every Niagara Falls experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ultimate Niagara Falls USA Tour W/ Boat Ride, Cave & Hotel Pickup, Niagara Falls USA and Canada Tour W/ Boat, Cave & Skylon Tower, American Side Express Tour With Maid of the Mist Boat Ride & Cave. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Niagara Falls?
+
May to September, with the falls illuminated year round. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Niagara Falls?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
