Maid of mist , Niagara , New York
Took reservations when the maid of mist in Niagara was not even opened yet for the season and when I called tour operators- he said he can do it later that day when there was not any boats allowed in water for this season yet
Response from the operator: The Maiden of the Mist Corp.is a Separate and solely held corporation. We are not a branch. They are one of the attractions that we visit when they are open. When they are not running, WE offer other choices. Our Company does not tell customers that the Boat. Is running when IT is not!

Waste of Money!
Waste of $378 plus a $50 tip which I was told I had to give the driver. The driver paid for the cave of the winds which was $28 for the two of us. Didn’t even maid of the mist and everywhere else he took us was free and we walked to the day before. We wasn’t even told any facts abut anything we were seeing.
Response from the operator: With continuous improvement our Motto, we appreciate your input! Since your pickup was out of the area, we decided to pick you up in our Stretch Limousine. By the way IT is not used for every occasion. All that for no charge! We don't charge any tips! They are recommended, but not charged! Our Tour Guides, all live in Niagara Falls and know it well. When one attraction is not running, WE always offer another event! Thanks Again for taking time to share your thoughts with us.

Ricky
Ricky, our driver, was absolutely fabulous! He has a wealth of knowledge. He added so much to our trip. I would definitely ask for him on our next visit

Disappointed and frustrated
The people I dealt with were very kind but they were not informative. I had booked this tour months before. Then I had to update my pickup spot. I couldn’t do it on my own so I chatted with someone and they assured me that although my hotel was not a pickup spot that there was one on the Canadian side. Long story short there wasn’t a pickup in Canada for the day I had booked it. I called the company and even though we were going to have a private tour they were not going to come pick us up. Very disappointing and I was not even offered my money back.

Why this scores 52
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Niagara Falls Tour- Complete: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Niagara Falls.
How much does Niagara Falls Tour- Complete cost?
+
Prices start at $149 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Niagara Falls usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Niagara Falls Tour- Complete take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Niagara Falls is not rushed.
Is Niagara Falls Tour- Complete worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 91 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Niagara Falls, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Niagara Falls Tour- Complete?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Niagara Falls Tour- Complete suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Niagara Falls Tour- Complete?
+
Around 32 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Niagara Falls can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Niagara Falls and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Niagara Falls Tour- Complete start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Niagara Falls within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Niagara Falls?
+
Niagara Falls on the US side means Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds, Goat Island walks, jet boat runs and combination trips across to the Canadian side. Passport requirements on cross-border tours are the thing to check first. On Outty we rank every Niagara Falls experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ultimate Niagara Falls USA Tour W/ Boat Ride, Cave & Hotel Pickup, Niagara Falls USA and Canada Tour W/ Boat, Cave & Skylon Tower, American Side Express Tour With Maid of the Mist Boat Ride & Cave. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Niagara Falls?
+
May to September, with the falls illuminated year round. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Niagara Falls?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
