Over the Fall with Dana
To start, if you ever decide to take this tour, ask for Dana! She was friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and a terrific driver. She knew tricks that really helped us out and made the trip so much more fun. Second, take this tour! It may seem a little expensive but for all that you get to see and do, it is a bargain. My wife and I were talking about it. Even if we had tried to do this on our own to save a few bucks, we not only would not have known about half of what you get to do on this tour, if we had known, I am not sure we could have found it, and if we had found it we still wouldn't have had Dana holding our hands all the way and explaining it to us. Third, well there is no third. Just do it!

Bucket list checked off
As a sole travel this was a great experience. The guide Dana was amazing and very knowledgeable. She was very helpful with additional information to make my vacation enjoyable.

Must do Day trip to see it all!!
Great way to see it all. Started on the American side and then back to the Canadian side to stop at every point you need to experience. 6 hr Day but you get to see it all and skip every line. Eduardo was a great guide. My tip is to keep your water poncho for the walk up to the Canadian Falls. With the mist you get soaked. It is really cool to be right up close to the top of the Horseshoe.

Awesome awesome and awesome
Our tour guide Randy was very knowledgeable and made the trip fun. The cave of the winds was our favorite part getting up close to the falls. We’ve been wanting to visit here for 30 years and finally made it. This tour made the whole trip and is a must do especially if it’s your first time here. Thank you Randy for making our trip so memorable.

Why this scores 90
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Niagara Falls USA and Canada Tour W/ Boat, Cave & Skylon Tower: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Niagara Falls.
How much does Niagara Falls USA and Canada Tour W/ Boat, Cave & Skylon Tower cost?
+
Prices start at $190 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Niagara Falls usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Niagara Falls USA and Canada Tour W/ Boat, Cave & Skylon Tower take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Niagara Falls is not rushed.
Is Niagara Falls USA and Canada Tour W/ Boat, Cave & Skylon Tower worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 90 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 9,815 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Niagara Falls, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule Niagara Falls USA and Canada Tour W/ Boat, Cave & Skylon Tower?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Niagara Falls USA and Canada Tour W/ Boat, Cave & Skylon Tower suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Niagara Falls USA and Canada Tour W/ Boat, Cave & Skylon Tower?
+
Around 3,435 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Niagara Falls can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Niagara Falls and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Niagara Falls USA and Canada Tour W/ Boat, Cave & Skylon Tower start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Niagara Falls within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Niagara Falls?
+
Niagara Falls on the US side means Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds, Goat Island walks, jet boat runs and combination trips across to the Canadian side. Passport requirements on cross-border tours are the thing to check first. On Outty we rank every Niagara Falls experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ultimate Niagara Falls USA Tour W/ Boat Ride, Cave & Hotel Pickup, American Side Express Tour With Maid of the Mist Boat Ride & Cave, Niagara Falls USA: Maid of the Mist & Cave Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Niagara Falls?
+
May to September, with the falls illuminated year round. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Niagara Falls?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
