Nerja (another world)!
Incredible tour to the Nerja Caves and the town which also showcased the Balcon de Europa. Pictures cannot shown how amazing it was to be underground in a huge cave full of staglamites. The town itself felt like a tropical getaway from Granada. Our guide Michael was fabulous, informative and our small group felt like friends.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words! Michael is undoubtedly one of the guides who knows the Costa Tropical, and Nerja in particular, best. And not only because he has visited it countless times, but also because he loves returning to these idyllic places and sharing the experience with visitors. We are delighted to hear of your positive experience, and we hope you return soon! Until next time!

Went on a day trip. Its beautiful, nature at is best. We didnt download the audio, so I'm not fully sure of the history. But you can download for free beforehand, or pay 2 euros on the day. Cost us 17 euros per person, and it took us about an hour to get through - we were stoppimg to take pics, and enjoying the views

Nerja Caves and Almunecar from Granada
The hosts, Micheal and Alessandra were incredibly pleasant, very knowledgeable and fun to be with. It was obvious they really enjoyed their work. They were extremely punctual and respectful. They took their time explaining important facts and history about each stop and were eager to answer any of our questions. The Nerja caves are spectacular and the towns of Almunecar and Nerja are very beautiful. It was a very full day but before we knew it, we were back in Granada. The whole trip exceeded our expectations! Thank you so much, Micheal and Alessandra! Bonny and Paul from Newfoundland, Canada 🇨🇦 ♥️
Response from the operator: Dear Bonny and Paul, Thank you so much for your heartwarming review! It was truly a pleasure to have you with us on our Tropical Coast and Nerja Caves tour. We are thrilled to hear that Michael and Alessandra made your day so special. They are indeed a fantastic team, and they were very touched by your kind words; they remember your visit fondly! We are glad that the caves and the beauty of Almuñécar exceeded your expectations and that the day felt so seamless. We hope the rest of your stay in Spain was just as wonderful. Sending a big hug all the way to Newfoundland! ❤️

Beautiful but Mind the Steps
The most impressive caves I've ever visited. They were huge and beautifully lit. There are a vast amount of steps inside, which are steep and not for those with mobility difficulties. Be aware that the tiled floor, at the foot of the steps into the caves, is like ice - especially if wet.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. We are delighted to read that you were impressed by the beauty of the caves you visited, despite the difficulty of accessing the site. Regards!

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Nerja Caves, Tropical Coast Day Trip From Granada with Opt Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Granada.
How much does Nerja Caves, Tropical Coast Day Trip From Granada with Opt Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $82 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Granada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Nerja Caves, Tropical Coast Day Trip From Granada with Opt Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Granada is not rushed.
Is Nerja Caves, Tropical Coast Day Trip From Granada with Opt Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 54 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Granada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Nerja Caves, Tropical Coast Day Trip From Granada with Opt Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Nerja Caves, Tropical Coast Day Trip From Granada with Opt Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Nerja Caves, Tropical Coast Day Trip From Granada with Opt Lunch?
+
Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Granada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Granada and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Nerja Caves, Tropical Coast Day Trip From Granada with Opt Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Granada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Granada?
+
On Outty we rank every Granada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Granada: Sierra Nevada Safari tour up to 2500 meters high, Granada Tapas and Wine Small Group Tour, Granada: Albaicin and Sacromonte Segway Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Granada?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Granada?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
