Nice activity to do on your way from Sarajevo to Mostar.
Everything was well organised. I booked a kayak from TripAdvisor just a few hours before, as a last minute thing, yet they had a kayak available for me and my booking information. The staff is very friendly and the kayaks are in good shape. The paddle doesn’t have a rubber grip so it starts to hurt your hands a little but it’s still doable. The landscape is beautiful, although there’s some trash on the water (not this company’s fault, but people should respect nature). They sell water and other beverages there, but I think the water bottles are used ones as the 3 I bought were all already opened… like the plastic seal was broken. Wasn’t sick from drinking from those, but still… maybe just bring yours.

Great experience!
Rafting was amazing, and we would definitely recommend this company. Everything was very well organized. The river and canyon are beautiful, with some sections full of adrenaline. It’s also suitable for families with children. We also had lunch, jumped into the water, and drank water from a natural spring. It was an amazing experience! Just keep in mind that the activity runs from 9:00 AM until around 4:00 PM, and don’t forget to bring sunscreen. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

STUNNING!
The guys are very kind, they showed us an explanatory video of what we were about to see and the route to follow before we started, they gave us a waterproof bag to put all our stuff in and then we were ready. They also offer a “lazy way back” in case we were too tired at the end of the route to come back for the price of €5, we didn’t use it though. The place was stunning!

Nice enough day, but the...
Nice enough day, but the river was right next to a very busy road, which took away the feeling of Nature. Beach was quite browses, but we still enjoyed the day

Unbelievable Beauty
You get to kayak in of the cleanest water in the world! You can literally drink the water while kayaking in it. The surrounding beauty is insane and you have to pinch yourself just as a reminder that it is real. The kayak gear is safe, the safety brief is good but just be aware this is not a guided kayak experience, you go on your own, which is perfectly safe. We also thought it was closer to Mostar but had to drive an hour, which is due to us not reading the details properly. I would highly recommend this experience when you are in the area. You have the freedom to make it as long or short as you like which is useful.

Why this scores 82
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Neretva kayak safari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mostar.
How much does Neretva kayak safari cost?
+
Prices start at $26 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mostar usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Neretva kayak safari take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mostar is not rushed.
Is Neretva kayak safari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 85 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mostar, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Neretva kayak safari?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Neretva kayak safari suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Neretva kayak safari?
+
Around 30 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mostar can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mostar and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Neretva kayak safari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mostar within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mostar?
+
On Outty we rank every Mostar experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Discover Herzegovina Day Tour from Mostar: Kravice Waterfalls, Blagaj, Počitelj, Herzegovina Day Tour from Mostar: Blagaj, Pocitej, Kravice falls (Join Us! :D), Half Day Trip to Kravice Waterfalls From Mostar. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mostar?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mostar?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
