Well organized day tour
This is a great tour for the Mostar area. It is a good variety and pace: from Sufi dervish lodge to old medieval town to waterfall. The guide Vanessa was so engaging and told so many great stories that really enhanced the experience. It was super well organized where we had ample time to visit the places when still kept on moving. Will recommend this tour!

Big fun day out!
This tour was a really fun day out! It was super well organised, 28 people had booked on the tour so we were split into three groups and did the stops in different orders so it was more personal. Marco was a brilliant guide, he encouraged us to introduce ourselves within our small group in the mini van so even though I was a solo traveller I quickly got chatting to the other in my group. The van was comfortable and had Aircon. Every stop added something of value to the tour. I loved the Orthodox monastery, absolutely beautiful. Each stop was timed very well, enough time to see everything without loads of time waiting about. I loved swimming at the waterfalls and the time allocated was plenty for getting changed, swimming and getting dressed again. There were also opportunities to eat at two of the stops which was ideal since we were out all day. I definitely recommend this tour.

If you’re booking for the Kravice Falls, don’t. If you mainly want to visit the other sites, than do.
There were two guides, Stija and Vanessa, and both were very nice and spoke perfect English. They explained everything very well and tried to make each stop interesting. I was just upset because my pickup time at the mosque was supposed to be at 09:05 and since they asked, I arrived earlier than that only to wait for 1h for them to come pick me up. And it was up to me to send them messages the day before and the morning of the tour to be updated… The guide said he was very sorry and he payed the entrance to the Dervish House (Blagaj Tekke Tekija Blagaj) as a compensation, but I mean, the entrance price is 2 euros or 4 Km… I would have preferred to be on time or to be able to sleep longer. But I understand these things can happen, it’s just hard to accept it when I contacted the agency the day before, the morning of the tour (when I arrived early at the mosque and later when no one showed up….). The minivan is also tight, and I had to seat most of the time between a child and his mother on the middle seat as both wanted to be by the windows to take photos, and passed grapes and other food between them in front of my face… lovely. As for the stops, I enjoyed the Dervish House, the Orthodox Monastery and the city of Počitelj. As I said, they explained the importance of each place and they were all interesting and beautiful. As for the Kravice Falls, which were supposed to be the highlight of the tour for me, it was a major disappointment. They should have left the falls pristine and untouched. Now, there are bars with loud music everywhere, tons of people, beach chairs in every available square inch, the water is dirty yet people bathe there, there’s trash everywhere… what a disaster. How could have they destroyed such a beautiful place? And the people are doing the same thing in the old bridge at Mostar, with drones and people jumping from the street, and speed boats everywhere… They don’t respect anything, it’s a shame. Once it’s not “in” anymore and influencers and instagrammers pass to the next thing, the people responsible for these atrocities will (I hope) regret having done what they did. So, if you’re booking this trip for the Falls, reconsider your choice. It’s heartbreaking 😢

When is the best time to visit Mostar?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mostar?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
