    Graffiti galore

Going into this tour I already some prior knowledge on street art and graffiti, yet my guide still managed to take a fully comprehensive tour and make it interesting both for me and for people who previously had no experience with this subject. The NDSM area is both a sight to behold, stuffed to the brim with eye candy for anyone who's into street art, and also has a very interesting history which you will hear about on this tour. Totally recommend for anyone who wants to see a different side to Amsterdam!

Response from the operator: Love this! It's always a good sign when even someone who already knows a thing or two about street art still walks away with something new. NDSM really is a world of its own, and we're glad the tour gave you a fresh perspective. Hope to see you on another adventure soon!

Do the Rude Bastards tour first and then the street art tour!

Love These Tours and Amsterdam didn't disappoint! The tours are highly relevant and include much more than a standard free walking tour. The tour was fantastic and the guide its obviously very passionate about Amsterdam and its street art culture. There is such diversity in the art shown and the tour guide really took the time to make sure we had plenty of time to ask questions and that we all clearly understood what we were looking at and the symbolism behind it. I cannot recommend it enough! It was very cool and interesting and after doing the rude bastards tour with the same company in Amsterdam city centre where we learnt the history of The Netherlands and Amsterdam, the street art tour just really added a whole other layer of depth to the city! Thank you so much rude bastards, and can you handle it tours! :) we are looking forward to joining your cologne tour next week!

Response from the operator: Thanks so much! That's exactly the combo we'd recommend too. Start with the Rude Bastards Tour, then head to NDSM and see a completely different side of Amsterdam. We're glad you enjoyed the stories, the symbolism and your guide's passion for the scene. Have an amazing time in Cologne, we'll be ready for you!

    Tagging Amsterdam!

Jack was incredibly knowledgeable. I learned about the history of street art and also Amsterdam history as well. I felt connected to the art by his passion and stories. I need to bring my friends along!

Response from the operator: Thanks so much! Jack's passion for street art is definitely contagious, so we're glad you caught it. We'll pass your kind words on to him. Bring your friends next time, we'll happily convert them too!

A fantatstic experience! The guide took us to one of the city’s most fascinating neighbourhoods, showing us some real hidden gems amongst the thousands of graffiti pieces that surround the NDSM district

Response from the operator: What a great way to spend the day! We're glad you discovered the hidden gems tucked away among the murals and graffiti of NDSM. It's a special part of Amsterdam, and we're happy you got to experience it with us. Hope to see you on another tour soon!

NDSM Street Art Tour (CYHIT): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.

How much does NDSM Street Art Tour (CYHIT) cost?

    +

Prices start at $27 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does NDSM Street Art Tour (CYHIT) take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.

Is NDSM Street Art Tour (CYHIT) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 38 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule NDSM Street Art Tour (CYHIT)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is NDSM Street Art Tour (CYHIT) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book NDSM Street Art Tour (CYHIT)?

    +

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does NDSM Street Art Tour (CYHIT) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?

    +

On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Amsterdam?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
