A Walk through Naxos History and Insta Gram shots.

Elizabeth, was knowledgeable and patient. The tour was conducted a amble with breaks for toilet and instagram shots of icon vistas. I asked a heap of questions, if Liz couldnt answer she had call a friend life line. Lots of panaramic opportunities and recommendations for travel, history sites and dinning options to enjoy full naxosbexperience.

    A beautiful sunset activity

Our guide was very prompt picking us up in a very ideal location. She was very friendly and introduced herself and her background. Allowed us to have lots of mini stops along the way and described each and every location where we stoped about what we can see now and how it was back in time. She allowed us to take lots of pictures and took many of us too which was great. Not too long a tour overall and a very good value for money overall.

    A must do tour

This tour perfectly captures the sites and history of Naxos. Our guide, Elizabeth, was extremely friendly, knowledgable, and professional. Her passion for her island was obvious. The tour took us through both the historic and modern parts of the island, as Elizabeth gave us tips and recommendations. We took gorgeous photos at the sunset. Definitely recommend to get a nice overview of the island in about a 2 hour time frame.

    We enjoyed the Naxos...

We enjoyed the Naxos Sunset Walking tour immensely. Leo is an excellent tour guide - very knowledgeable about ancient Greek history, the historic sites in Naxos, as well as current cultural highlights of Naxos, including shopping and cuisine. Leo made the tour very fun for my five daughters (aged 21-31), tailoring parts of the tour to things of interest to their age-group/generation, and allowed sufficient time for all of the pictures that they wanted to take. At several points throughout the tour, Leo took a group pix of our family. A very fun and educational tour that I highly recommend.

    Unpleasantly unexpected

Initially, was expecting a brief walk to the lookout point (which is very accessible on its own by the way, if you’re looking for that no need to book a tour). That being said, we got a very detailed tour of the town of Naxos, which was great! Though the tour was enriching, the tour guide made the young female participants very uncomfortable. There were lots of comments made in regard to sexual topics. If you’re a female under the age of 30 wanting to participate without a male companion, I would strongly advise against this tour (or request a female guide).

Naxos Town Sunset Walk: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naxos.

How much does Naxos Town Sunset Walk cost?

    +

Prices start at $51 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naxos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Naxos Town Sunset Walk take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naxos is not rushed.

Is Naxos Town Sunset Walk worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 45 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naxos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Naxos Town Sunset Walk?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Naxos Town Sunset Walk suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Naxos Town Sunset Walk?

    +

Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naxos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naxos and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Naxos Town Sunset Walk start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naxos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Naxos?

    +

On Outty we rank every Naxos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Naxos:Half-day cooking class at Basiliko Farm, Naxos Perivoli Farm Experience & Wood-fire Cooking Class, Naxos Kayak Tour to Rina Cave with Snorkeling and Homemade lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Naxos?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Naxos?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
