Meet your guide at Naxos Bus Transfer Office, right outside Naxos Port and drive directly to your first stop, Demeter’s Temple. Admire the impressive restored sanctuary, take amazing pictures and visit the small on site museum. *On Tuesdays and on the 1st of May the Temple of Demeter is closed and instead you will visit the village of Filoti. Also, the Demeter's Temple closes early (noon) in case of predicted heat wave. In that case, the tour that departs in the afternoon (13.00) visits Filoti village instead of Demeter's Temple

Excellent half day Naxos tour - highly recommended?
This half day afternoon exploration of Naxos countryside was an excellent value. Thanos our guide who is a local Naxian did a wonderful job of explaining the tour and the local culture as well as his experiences growing up. The driver Maki was also expert at maneuvering the small bus and even in the downpour!

Wonderful experience!
Incredible day! A half day if you’re fit and prepared to climb stairs quickly is more than enough. We did have time for a coffee shop. October was actually a great time to go because it was lovely and sunny but not too hot! Tour guide was was wonderful and the driver was excellent on the bending roads. We all felt very safe. Good for all ages!

Excellent half day tour of Naxos
This was a fantastic way to spend a half day in Naxos. We got to see parts of the island that wouldn't have been possible without a rental car, and Dimitrios is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the island's history. We learned so much about Naxian (and wider Greek) history and culture. Stavros was a great driver and we felt very safe. I find full-day tours can be very tiring so this was the perfect amount of time.
