    A lovely boat trip

A lovely boat trip The captain and his assistant were very enthusiastic and informative Some tasty snacks were provided which was unexpected. The boat is a small converted fishing boat full of character. A link to some very professional photos was provided after the trip at no extra charge. Most operators charge for this so this was also an unexpected surprise. The whole group enjoyed the trip.

Response from the operator: So happy we could surprise you in the best way! Capturing those memories for you is one of our favorite parts of the day, and the boat certainly loves having such great company on board. Warmest hugs from Naxos, The Gialitissa Boat Trips Family

    A great family trip

We went out with my parents (60s), siblings (20s/30s) and my 3 kids (4, 3, and 1). It was so nice to have a private trip. We even had the cave to ourselves for a while! Giannis then took us to a private bay where we swam, found beautiful rocks, and relaxed. He even brought a paddleboard for the kids to ride on when we snorkeled and swam. We got a lovely snack and great wine. It was our highlight of Naxos! Thank you!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! Sending you our warmest wishes and lots of love from sunny Naxos! Warmly, The Gialitissa Boat Trips Family

The Highlight of Our Trip to Naxos

This was such an amazing experience not only was the water and views amazing, but the staff (Cpt. Giannis Jr, Stravroula, and Zizi) was wonderful and kind. Before the trip even began, the staff was responsive with our questions online. When we arrived Stravroula and ZiZi were very friendly and extremely welcoming. They were able to address our concerns about the windy weather. Our tour included getting history of the islands which is something we love, gorgeous views, stopping at two spots (including a cave which was crazy!!), relaxing sailing, a delicious and healthy snack, and of course wine. Giannis (Jr.), our captain, even let our tweens and tweens steer the boat on the way back which had them freaking out with excitement. My 16 year old was actually impressed and smiling from ear to ear! Between the friendliness of all of the staff, the variety in the boat tour, the beauty of the Greek islands, I now know why people said you must do this if you come (shout out to all the blogs and people who share for the recommendation). I will echo that sentiment. You cannot leave with out a boat tour. And please choose Gialitissa; Rina Cave Boat Tours. I really like to support good and kind people. Oh and the boat was really clean (I am a germaphobe and hate a mess). And finally, icing on the cake....they took pictures with a GoPro and DSLR the images were included!!! If you come to Naxos, make sure you book them. You will not regret it!

Response from the operator: We are incredibly moved by your deeply kind and thoughtful review! It is moments like this—seeing teenagers light up with joy and knowing we've made our guests feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home—that make everything we do worth it. Stavroula, Zizi, and Captain Giannis Jr. are sending you the biggest hug. Thank you for your amazing support, for appreciating our clean boat, and for sharing your experience so beautifully. You arrived as guests, but you leave as part of our extended family. Wishing you all the very best in life!

    This was a lovely...

This was a lovely experience. My family had a chance to get into the water and experience Rina Cave without being on a crowded boat. Make sure you give yourself enough time to get to the takeoff point so that you can enjoy the ride down the island and see all of the little villages and scenery along the way. Bonus points to stop and jump in the ocean a few times along the journey.

Response from the operator: We appreciate your kind words and are so glad your family had such a peaceful, uncrowded experience. May the rest of your year be filled with smiles, wonderful family moments, and excellent health!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naxos.

How much does Naxos: Rina Cave & South Naxos Private Traditional Boat Trip cost?

    +

Prices start at $354 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naxos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Naxos: Rina Cave & South Naxos Private Traditional Boat Trip take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naxos is not rushed.

Is Naxos: Rina Cave & South Naxos Private Traditional Boat Trip worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 43 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naxos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Naxos: Rina Cave & South Naxos Private Traditional Boat Trip?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Naxos: Rina Cave & South Naxos Private Traditional Boat Trip suitable for kids and families?

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Naxos: Rina Cave & South Naxos Private Traditional Boat Trip?

    +

Around 15 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naxos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naxos and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Naxos?

    +

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Naxos?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Naxos?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
