Great Experience!!

Karon was a wonderful guide! It was very interesting to hear the island’s history and see the local sights—we learned so much. He also got us in and out of the rum cake shop and chocolate factory very timely. We then visited caves and headed to Nirvana beach. The beach was great and was not crowded at all. We were able to snorkel and see many colorful fish, which was the highlight for me. This tour was just what we needed and I highly recommend it!

Response from the operator: On behalf of my son Karon and the entire Wilson's family we would like to thank you for choosing our Nassau Shore Excursion: Sightseeing and Snorkeling 3.5 Hours Tour Product Code: 16383P2 on Viator. Best service during Covid

Tyrone is a top notch guide he was so accommodating and was very cautious of your safety while staying adventurous...it was a great experience from a family man of the Bahamas of over 30 years experience on the island..we highly recommend him and his services especially in these uncertain times..we went to town saw all kinds of history and Tyrone was nothing but exceptional thank you Tyrone

Response from the operator: On behalf of my self and family we truly appreciate you. My job was very easy because you guys were open-minded and lots of fun. Best regards, Tyrone Wilson.

Ok

It was just me and my friend so we zoomed through all the activities. I loved our guide, he was smart and friendly and answered all our questions. I guess my expectation was a bit too high as far as the activities go. You walk in and out of the chocolate and rum cake factory. No tour like I thought there might be. The caves were walk in and out. They blocked off the majority of it because some stupid condos. The queens staircase was just that....a staircase. None of these were very impressive. The beach is when it got real iffy. The woman at the bar was rude. Rolling her eyes and gave us the wrong food order and then once we started eating, took it away. The beach was clean. It was cloudy that day so there was a damper. The tour is definitly not worth what we paid. Next time I'll go through Carnival as I usually have. They are more fun on those excursions. Very glad I met the guide though, he was the best part of the tour to be honest. I love booking through Viator but this was just a bummer tour. =(

Nassau Shore Excursion: Sightseeing and Snorkeling Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nassau.

How much does Nassau Shore Excursion: Sightseeing and Snorkeling Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nassau usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Nassau Shore Excursion: Sightseeing and Snorkeling Tour take?

+

Plan for about 5.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nassau is not rushed.

Is Nassau Shore Excursion: Sightseeing and Snorkeling Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 37 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nassau, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Nassau Shore Excursion: Sightseeing and Snorkeling Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Nassau Shore Excursion: Sightseeing and Snorkeling Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Nassau Shore Excursion: Sightseeing and Snorkeling Tour?

+

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nassau can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nassau and add a light layer if any part of the 5.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Nassau Shore Excursion: Sightseeing and Snorkeling Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nassau within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nassau?

+

On Outty we rank every Nassau experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bites of Nassau Food and Walking Tour, Rum Tasting and Food Walking Tour in Nassau Bahamas, Pirate Jeep Sightseeing Adventure!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nassau?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nassau?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
