Cruise the Cumberland
This is just a paddle wheel cruise down the river . No information about the area - no one really letting you know what’s going on . The tables are boring - no linens - candles on certain tables - the room is filled with tables jammed up so close you can hardly get up . It’s a very sterile environment. Romantic it’s NOT !! It’s in and out … We got our own drinks - took care of ourselves for the buffet . Which was good . The short ribs were delicious-salmon was okay - chicken was good . When booking the trip it was not easy to book dinner / I called the booking company - they called the ferry company informed them we wanted 2 dinners and a nice romantic table for 2 . We did NOT receive that - we were told there might not be enough food for us and we will have to wait and see / no table for two. Just some sterile white table in the middle of the room . Took matters into my own hands - sat by the window - took a candle off an empty table and went up to the buffet . The ride without dinner is over 100.00 ! The ride takes place at dinner time ??? We paid for dinner no problem.. They are a new company and we understand that / they really need to have someone in charge who can clearly execute the entire cruise flawlessly for them to be highly successful. Would I recommend it YES . Just don’t expect it to be with tablecloths - linens - candles or organized .Its a fun way to spend a couple hours with great entertainment- fun staff / good drinks & decent food !

Buyer Beware
We had a great time. We didn’t buy the dinner package but our entertainment was wonderful. Very good musician and interacted with the crowd. The boat needed sprucing up…old carpet, etc. The only negative was buying through Viator. There are no cancelations and initially I booked the date wrong. I was able to change the date so I didn’t loose my money. However if something had come up and we couldn’t make it, the are NO refunds. So buyer beware.

It was a nice couple hours of relaxation and good music. The views were not great but the cave was interesting

Nice sunset boat ride. Very friendly and helpful staff!
Went on the 7pm cruise on July 25th 2026. My mom has a rollator walker and doesn’t walk well but everyone working that night was very hospitable. Shoutout the lady working the booth at the top of the hill that recommended someone get a golf cart to drive my mom down to the boat loading location as getting there isn’t that easy. You either take a bunch of stairs or a long ramp pathway. All the workers were very nice, friendly and helpful! The boat is nice with live music and beautiful views of the city. Definitely recommend for anyone!

Night cruise
Peaceful, nice way to change it up after a few nights on Broadway (which was equally as enjoyable).

Why this scores 53
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Nashville Nighttime Cruise with Live Music: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nashville.
How much does Nashville Nighttime Cruise with Live Music cost?
+
Prices start at $61 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nashville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Nashville Nighttime Cruise with Live Music take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nashville is not rushed.
Is Nashville Nighttime Cruise with Live Music worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Nashville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Nashville Nighttime Cruise with Live Music?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Nashville Nighttime Cruise with Live Music suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Nashville Nighttime Cruise with Live Music?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nashville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nashville and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Nashville Nighttime Cruise with Live Music start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nashville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nashville?
+
Nashville's activity mix is unusually music-heavy: Ryman and Opry backstage tours, RCA Studio B sessions, songwriter rounds and honky-tonk crawls on Broadway. Around that sit distillery runs to Lynchburg and general-admission pedal taverns. Outty Ranking penalises the crawl operators that oversell group size, which is the most common complaint in this city. On Outty we rank every Nashville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Nashville: Authentic Food Tour with 5 Tastings of Local Dishes, Nashville RCA Studio B & Country Music Hall of Fame Ticket Combo, Nashville's Wildest Honky Tonk Public Party Bus (21+). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nashville?
+
April to May and September to October, when patios open and the humidity drops. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nashville?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
