Go from your hotel in Brussels (and surrounding areas) and travel to Ligny, where Napoleon fought his last victory against the Prussian army. Discover the village, and the strategies used on this day. Continue to Quatre-Bras, where the French and British armies clashed. Next, visit the battlefield of Waterloo, where Napoleon was defeated by the British and Prussian armies. Discover Plancenoit, la-Haie-Sainte or even Hougoumont. Waterloo Day of Battle
Very good service, the guide (Valentin) was timely, friendly and knowledgable, but he needed a better rental car, the one he had had problems with its clutch. The tour was good but very costly and should include the following for the price of $780 USD: 1) 8 hours of touring, with visits at La Belle Alliance and Plancenoit included. 2) An inexpensive hand out folder with a few maps so the tourists may view what the guide has, and may retain as a keepsake. (You could also advertise the company on the folder as good PR!) 3) FREE lunch. Its only about 25 Euro per person. It makes the company look cheap! 4) Included the Museum and Film at Hugomont Otherwise it was a bloody good time GRM

Great trip to Waterloo
Yves Leduc was a great guide for this trip. He was knowledgeable and provided lots of info, both at the site and along the way. He wanted to make sure you got the most out of the tour. We had a great time and enjoyed the trip. We decided to skip lunch and spent more time at each site. Yves was very accommodating and flexible. Highly recommended.

Waterloo tour
Yves provided us with a wonderful day touring the famous battlegrounds of Waterloo. The car was first class abs the drive from Brussels easy. I read extensively about the battle beforehand and this made the trip more enjoyable. Yves knew the history and provided a capable narration. One concern, was the pour planning for lunch. This was the single disappointment on the six hour tour. At the end of the day, Yves, delivered is to the train station and helped is buy tickets

Not a premium or even good experience
Nice enough guide, but does not know the Waterloo area, ok but not great English, did not know where to buy tickets for one of the locations. For the price, this fell way way below a reasonable standard. Viator needs to do a better quality control job.
