Amazing Tour Guide For English Speaking Visitors!!!

The other reviews are spot on! From the very beginning Yoshi-San was extremely easy to communicate with through email! His English spoken and written skills are amazing and it’s extremely easy to communicate with him! He studied in the US so he also has first hand experience with Americans, but you’re in Japan so behave and don’t embarrass him! Ha! Yoshi-San is extremely knowledgeable about Japanese history and current events! It was refreshing to hear his opinions about world issues and his perceptions. He is very open minded and easy to talk to. He catered our tour exactly to our liking and even changed it up to accommodate our last minute wishes. I would highly recommend Yoshi-San to any tourists wanting a private tour guide who is super friendly, in tune with other cultures, and has excellent English speaking skills! You will not be disappointed unless you’re impossible to please! And YES, tipping is recommended despite what you’ve been told. This is one of those cases where it’s ok. In Japan, it’s more polite to wrap the tip in a tissue or envelope to disguise the amount or the fact you’re handing him cash. So what you waiting for? Book Yoshi-San NOW!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to leave such a warm and thoughtful review. I’m truly delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour. It was also a pleasure for me to talk with you about Japanese history, culture, and many other topics. Our conversations were a memorable part of the day for me as well. I’m glad I was able to adjust the itinerary to accommodate your last-minute requests, and I hope it helped make your trip even more special. If you visit Japan again in the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I would be very happy to see you again. Thank you once again for choosing my tour. It was an absolute pleasure guiding you.

Hands down one of the best tour guides ever

Yoshi is one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had and we are so glad we booked this private tour with him. He was great communicating about the tour logistics leading up and on tour day was so knowledgeable about Japanese history and the sites we visited. We especially loved getting to try a few different foods from Nagoya and his photography skills! Highly recommend Yoshi and his tours!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your private tour with me and that my knowledge of Japanese history, local food recommendations, and photography tips made your experience memorable. It was our pleasure to guide you through Nagoya, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon!

How much does Nagoya Private Tour – Nationally Licensed Guide & Private Car cost?

+

How long does Nagoya Private Tour – Nationally Licensed Guide & Private Car take?

+

Is Nagoya Private Tour – Nationally Licensed Guide & Private Car worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nagoya, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Nagoya Private Tour – Nationally Licensed Guide & Private Car?

Is Nagoya Private Tour – Nationally Licensed Guide & Private Car suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Nagoya Private Tour – Nationally Licensed Guide & Private Car?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nagoya can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nagoya and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Nagoya Private Tour – Nationally Licensed Guide & Private Car start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nagoya within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nagoya?

+

On Outty we rank every Nagoya experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hiking the Historic Nakasendo Trail [1 Day Tour from Nagoya], Nagoya Highlight Tour guided by a friendly local, Ghibli Park 1-Day Bus Tour from Nagoya. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nagoya?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nagoya?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
