Worth the price and trip!!!
It's hard to imagine visiting both the Forbidden City and the Mutianyu Great Wall in one day — today's trip was well worth it. With the driver and online tour guide taking care of everything, I didn't have to worry about a thing. They're both extremely professional and really know their stuff.

Effortless and absolutely stunning
Nobody warns you how big the Forbidden City actually is. Four hours and we barely scratched it. The scale is the thing — one courtyard after another, and you turn into a side hall and it's completely empty while the main axis is a slow shuffle of people. Mutianyu was the day that reset me. Took the toboggan down, which is ridiculous and I'd do it again. Sitting on that wall with nobody around, just wind and ridges — that's the image I'll keep.
