    1. Museo Nicolis

Founded in 2000 by Luciano Nicolis - a businessman passionate about old cars - this automobile, technical and mechanical museum has become one of the most important and beautiful museums dedicated to cars today. The museum boasts an extensive collection of precious and impossible to find today car-related objects collected all around the world by Nicolis - motivated by his great interests in cars and mechanics. There are 8 collections totaling over 1,000 objects that tell the story of how man has overcome the challenge of distance in both time and space. The objects on display are divided into eight themed categories: automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, musical instruments, cameras, typewriters/computers, motors, racecars and military objects. Among the most rare pieces, you will find the first motorcycle to run on gas from 1882.

Don't go if bus parked outside

Great to arrive after lunch on way to Verona and there's hardly any other customers there. Toured at our own pace w/out guide. It was 78°F outside & every floor of museo was getting stifling hot. On the hospitality level, the doors are open to terrace letting in more heat. Soon arrived a school group of teenagers via motorcoach. They weren't there to view the collection or learn anything. They were only there to sprawl on the few chairs in the bldg, stare at their phones, & use the vending machine. Museo should require guides with school groups AND keep the indoors at a comfortable cool temp.

    A very well done museum

It exceeded our expectations. It was very clean. I like that all the cars were fully restored, and although there were a lot of old cars, there were some newer cars as well. Dashboard Diva was with me!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the cleanliness, the fully restored vehicles, and the mix of classic and more recent models.

Very interesting Museum close to Verona dedicated to the most relevant evolution of the objects of common use in the last centur

Excellent Museum of the recent evolution of many modern era'sobjectd, ranging from transportation (cars, bikes, motorbikes, engines, planes) to photo machines, typewriters, pianolas, small models of cars. All the items on show are well kept and in good light In a nice modern and friendly ambient. The museum is close to Verona easily reachable by car and train/bus. Some items would deserve to be highlighted further because of their hisyorical/technical relevance like the E marine engines, the antique outboard. It would be welcomed a technical and historical introduction to the sections of the beautiful and significant collection

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! We are really happy to know that the Museum still thrills our guests. We hope to see you again at Museo Nicolis! Best regards The Museo Nicolis team
