Pasta, Passion & Fun - An Absolute MUST DO in Verona
Cooking with Valli & Dave was one of the highlights of our trip! Valli's passion for pasta and desire to share her Granny's secrets makes her an amazing teacher. We loved that she taught us how to make the pasta but more importantly taught us what to do when things appear to go terribly wrong (as they are likely to do the first few times). Dave's comic relief kept everyone on their toes and made the class that much more exciting and memorable. Together, Valli & Dave put forth a force of passion, learning, and fun that we are still talking about almost 2 weeks later. CAUTION: Attending this class will 100% convince you that this is the only way to prepare pasta at home. Before we even left their home, we were online ordering our very own pasta maker and purchased several of the small tools right from Valli at the class. We can't wait to try out what we learned at home! If you are going to be in Verona and considering a cooking class, "My Granny's Secrets: Making Pasta in the Heart of Verona" is an ABSOLUTE MUST DO!!! It is a hands-on experience followed by a very tasty dinner with a lot of laughs in between. To Valli & Dave - Thank you for opening your home and sharing your passion with us. We look forward to sharing our future pasta journey with you! Much love from your new friends in Michigan!

An Unforgettable Experience 10/10
Do not miss this opportunity if you’re in Verona. It was the perfect introduction to pasta making with the ideal blend of information, demonstration, and hands-on experience. I learned a great deal and left with a new passion for pasta making (and eating!). Valli and Dave were the perfect hosts - they have an extremely professional set-up (a large, clean space for activities, large bathroom and high levels of hygiene, air conditioning, water to stay hydrated) but at the same time I felt welcomed into their home. Valli is an excellent teacher and Dave the perfect side-kick (an excellent cleaner, judge, and jokester). I felt at ease throughout the whole experience and laughed a lot. This is an ideal afternoon/evening activity for solo travellers, partners, families, and groups of friends. And at the end of it all, you get to eat a delicious home cooked 3 course meal with the fruits of your labour - the pasta! Thank you Valli and Dave for an unforgettable experience.

Delicious and educational
I had a wonderful time learning and cooking pasta! The hosts were really friendly and kind the whole evening! The whole evening was about 4 hours long! The hosts were knowledgeable about the area so I recommend booking at the beginning of your trip so you can ask for recommendations!
