The Museo Atlántico –  consists of 10 different groups of sculptures. There is the Rubicon, a group of 35 human figures walking towards a wall. The models used for these sculptures are residents of Lanzarote. You can also see the famous Raft of Lampedusa, a reference to the current refugee crisis. Another component is a group of children in little brass boats, called Los Jolateros. Also, there are several hybrid sculptures (half human, half cactus) depicting the merging of nature and humanity, existing together in perfect harmony. The sculptures of a couple taking a selfie and some photographers refer to the use of technology in modern society. Deregulated is a playground in which businessmen in suits play on a swing and a seesaw. The last piece is a human gyre which consists of 200 life-size sculptures placed in a never ending circle.

    Awesome 🤩 thanks 🙌

Bart the owner is an absolute legend! We came down to dive on the museum with another Dive Center from a different part of the island. Bart was so welcoming to me and my children 11 & 17. We also met Damo another really top guy who worked there too. Awesome dive centre and we had a brilliant dive. Thanks Bart you really made our day brilliant !

Response from the operator: Ooooh, so great to hear this! Was nice to meet you all

Spot on Dive Centre! A must visit !!!

Hands down one of the best Dive Centres I’ve dived with. Absolutely nothing is any trouble for them. The whole team are great. Lovely dive sites and zero pressure from the team. Would recommend this place to other divers or anyone wanting to learn whilst on holiday. They even have a pool at the front of their centre for try dives. I would urge anyone on holiday in this area to give them a look. Absolutely worth the 5 stars on this review and more.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this review

Highly recommend, very professional, friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful week in Playa Blanca dipping into dives, the highlight of which was the flamingo wall. So many shoals of fish and lots of angel sharks. It was all so well organised and so easy to deal with. All my dives were led by Bob who was super helpful and so informative. For an amateur like me diving is so much more enjoyable when you know you have an experienced leader. Thanks Bob. My daughter did her open water and loved it all.we will be back.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. I will let Bob know how happy you were with him.

Learnt so much and had so much fun! Excited to dive more and will definitely come back to Dive College Lanzarote!

The distractingly handsome Bob not only had clear instruction but was brilliantly funny with it! He helped me fight and win against a mental block I had, with honesty and patience and got me to pass the advanced open water course after some difficulty I had to begin with. He obviously loves what he does and I improved quickly under his wing and encouragement! The marine life sightings were awesome and plentiful! Everyone at the Dive College Lanzarote is lovely, funny and ready to help. Can't wait to go back!

Response from the operator: Thank you! We hope to see you back for more

Museo Atlantico for certified divers: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lanzarote.

How much does Museo Atlantico for certified divers cost?

    +

Prices start at $82 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lanzarote usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Museo Atlantico for certified divers take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lanzarote is not rushed.

Is Museo Atlantico for certified divers worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 64 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lanzarote, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Museo Atlantico for certified divers?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Museo Atlantico for certified divers suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Museo Atlantico for certified divers?

    +

Around 22 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lanzarote can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lanzarote and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Museo Atlantico for certified divers start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lanzarote within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lanzarote?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lanzarote experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guapatinis Show Bar Experience, Tour to Timanfaya, Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes and viewpoint from the cliff, MHT Lanzarote - Comedy Drag Dinner Show Experience - No1. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lanzarote?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lanzarote?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Museo Atlantico for certified divers?

    +

Included: Hotel pickup and drop-off (only in Playa Blanca); Dive equipment; Dive guide; and Transfer by boat. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Museo Atlantico for certified divers include hotel pickup?

    +

Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 40 listed pickup locations in and around Lanzarote. Be ready about 10 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.

What languages is Museo Atlantico for certified divers offered in?

    +

It is offered in German, English, Italian, French, Dutch and Spanish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Museo Atlantico for certified divers?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

Is Museo Atlantico for certified divers wheelchair or stroller accessible?

    +

The operator notes: Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.

What happens to Museo Atlantico for certified divers if the weather is bad?

    +

This experience depends on good weather. If it is canceled because of poor weather, you are offered a different date or a full refund.
