Super fun!
This was so fun and very well thought out. It was more involved than I thought it would be, especially because of the low cost. We had so much fun, and we figured out who the murderer was!
Response from the operator: Thank you for the awesome review! We're thrilled you enjoyed your sleuthing adventure in St. George. We appreciate your note about the level of detail - the game is designed to unfold in layers, so it’s nice to hear that the experience was a pleasant surprise. Glad you had fun working through the clues and saving the city!!

Murder Mystery Driving Tour
Audio bathroom language. Some of the clues were outdated because the buildings and surrounding areas have changed. It was fun activity that could have been better with changes to the aforementioned.
Response from the operator: Thanks for the thoughtful review - we’re glad you enjoyed the Murder Mystery Game in St. George. This experience is rated for adults, as it includes profanity and references to mature content - though we understand not every style lands the same way for every player. We also appreciate the note about outdated clues. City infrastructure can shift over time, and feedback like yours helps us keep everything accurate. If you’re open to sharing specifics, you can reach us at info@iamhearo.com so we can make the necessary updates. Thanks again for playing and for helping us improve the experience!

St. George Murder Mystery
We can not recommend this tour. We chose the walking option and struggled from the beginning. The starting location put us 1.4 miles away from the beginning of the game. We decided to drive to where the game began and found free public parking. The word scramble at stop 1 was very misleading and we had to guess, which we did get right. By the end we were board with the game but did all the stops. We were glad we did not have to walk 1.4 miles back to our car.
Response from the operator: Thanks for sharing your experience. It seems there may have been a disconnect with the navigation aspect of the game, as the setup instructions and phone navigation normally guide players directly to the starting point and each stop. We’re glad you were able to navigate to the beginning and solve the first puzzle - some clues are intentionally a bit tricky! 😀 We appreciate the feedback as we continue refining the experience.

Way too complicated
Far far too complicated. People vacationing are not gonna want to expend mental or physical energy trying to follow detailed instructions to figure out a complex mystery. You need to greatly simply. I didnt even try to begin. Listening to the instructons overwhelmed me.
Response from the operator: Thanks for the feedback. We're very sorry to hear that the experience was overwhelming for you. We appreciate you letting us know that our instructions could be clearer and will take your comments into consideration as we work on improving the game.

Murder Mystery Detective Experience in St George UT: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for St George.
How much does Murder Mystery Detective Experience in St George UT cost?
+
Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in St George usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Murder Mystery Detective Experience in St George UT take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in St George is not rushed.
Is Murder Mystery Detective Experience in St George UT worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in St George, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Murder Mystery Detective Experience in St George UT?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Murder Mystery Detective Experience in St George UT suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Murder Mystery Detective Experience in St George UT?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in St George can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in St George and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Murder Mystery Detective Experience in St George UT start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central St George within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in St George?
+
St George sits below Zion National Park: guided Zion day tours, canyoneering and slot canyon trips, Snow Canyon jeep runs, and golf and hiking through red rock desert. On Outty we rank every St George experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Greater Zion: Sand Hollow Dunes ATV Tour, Greater Zion's 4 Hour Adventure Rally, Kayak/SUP Tour: Birds, Beavers, Turtles, maybe even Cliff Jumping. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit St George?
+
March to May and September to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in St George?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
