    You Gotta Try This.

This was way more rugged and way more fun than I expected. My husband had a great time driving. Steve, our guide, gave precise instructions but in a lighthearted way. He was obviously enjoying it, which made it more enjoyable for us. And to top it off the scenery was gorgeous. If we come back this way we will book another tour with Off the Grid 4x4 Tours.

Response from the operator: Thank you for joining us and your kind words! Steve absolutely loves what he does! The East Side Memorial is one of my favorites! Please join us again when you have time!

    4 wheel adventure

We had an awesome time out at Sand Hollow with Steve. He made the whole trip super fun and easy from the start. I drove one of his Jeeps with him and my son riding along, and we had another Jeep with one of my coworkers and his family. Steve really knows the area and took us on a really fun route with a couple cool stops along the way. We checked out a war memorial called “The Fallen,” which was really cool to see out there, and also stopped at the Flintstone House a unique spot. The whole day was a perfect mix of good trails, awesome views, and just hanging out. Steve kept it laid back but still made sure we got a great off-road experience. Definitely an awesome experience—already looking forward to getting back out there with Steve again and trying some more trails. I'll definitely be back soon.

Response from the operator: So happy you had a great time! Looking forward to seeing you soon!

    Awesome Sand Hollow Jeep run

We had an absolute blast out at Sand Hollow with Steve. From the start, he made the whole experience easy, fun, and super memorable. I drove one of his Jeeps with him and my son riding along, while another Jeep had a few of my coworkers—perfect setup for a great day on the trails. Steve knows the area inside and out and took us on an awesome route with a couple really cool stops along the way. We checked out the war memorial called “The Fallen,” which was something you don’t expect to see out there and definitely left an impression. We also stopped at the Flintstone House, which was just plain fun and unique. The whole ride was a perfect mix of adventure, great views, and good company. Steve kept things relaxed but still made sure we got the full off-road experience. Overall, it was an awesome time, and I’m already looking forward to getting back out there for another trail run with Steve. Highly recommend.

Response from the operator: So glad you had a great time! The Fallen is definitely inspiring. We love Steve too. Hope to see you on the trails soon!

East Side Memorial - 4x4 Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for St George.

How much does East Side Memorial - 4x4 Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $170 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in St George usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does East Side Memorial - 4x4 Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in St George is not rushed.

Is East Side Memorial - 4x4 Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in St George, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule East Side Memorial - 4x4 Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is East Side Memorial - 4x4 Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book East Side Memorial - 4x4 Tour?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in St George can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in St George and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does East Side Memorial - 4x4 Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central St George within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in St George?

    +

St George sits below Zion National Park: guided Zion day tours, canyoneering and slot canyon trips, Snow Canyon jeep runs, and golf and hiking through red rock desert. On Outty we rank every St George experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Greater Zion: Sand Hollow Dunes ATV Tour, Greater Zion's 4 Hour Adventure Rally, Kayak/SUP Tour: Birds, Beavers, Turtles, maybe even Cliff Jumping. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit St George?

    +

March to May and September to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in St George?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
