    Good clean fun

While this experience was really really fun it was pretty well written and some good character development the writers the whatever of this need to go back and look because unfortunately some of the buildings have been renamed with new names Benny's pub is no longer in existence what is sad because it's been here for quite a while and at the moment the second hand store is not in existence because of a fire although it will be coming back so that one's not as important and being a little more clear with the questions would have been cool because we didn't understand what you wanted from the questions for the first two questions but other than that it was very easy to get to the new locations it was pretty clear on how to get there and the quick tutorial wasn't too bad with what buttons to push and when It would have been cool to know before halfway through that if we touch the map it would give us directions instead of having to use outside directions otherwise it was really fun it was like two and a half 3 hours of fun for my family on my daughter's birthday the day before mother's Day just a great time hanging out and goofing off we even took the dog with us and she had a blast too We did the driving one

Response from the operator: Thanks so much for the review - we’re really glad your family had such a fun time with the mystery, and that it made for a great birthday outing. We appreciate the notes about a couple of locations changing; towns evolve quickly, and we update things as new information comes in. Thanks as well for the feedback on the early questions and the map feature - the 'Gameplay Tutorial' and 'Quick Reference Guide' cover those pieces, but we’re always looking at ways to make things even clearer for players. We’re happy to hear it was a fun few hours together, dog included!

How far in advance should I book Murder Mystery Detective Experience in Hagerstown MD?

    +

Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Frederick and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

When is the best time to visit Frederick?

    +

Spring and fall bring the best weather and lighter crowds in Frederick, while summer has the widest choice of tours and evening activities. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Frederick?

    +

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
