Best driver/tour guide ever! A great day trip!
This tour was great! Rasso, our driver, picked us up at our hotel ( his communication beforehand was great! ) and brought us to Rothenberg where he walked us into the grounds - explaining a lot- and brought us to the market square ( so we had an idea of what was around us). He gave recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Then we had 3 hours to explore on own own before meeting back up with him. We loved this as a lot of other tours - you only get about an hour to explore which is only enough to either shop or have something to eat. We were able to do both of those along with walking the gardens and visiting a museum and exploring the town. Rasso was waiting for us right where he said he would be. Then took us to Hamburg to visit a castle. Again he walked us up to front gates, we stopped to use the facilities, then he came with us when we purchased our tickets, stayed with us for 20 minutes - he took us inside the church and explained a lot to us. Also talked about the different buildings and what they were used for and showed us the spectacular view from the side of the castle. We then had 30-45 minutes on our own to explore ( which was nice and more than enough time as there's not a ton to see). Again - he was waiting for us as we exited the castle. He then took us down the hillside and dropped us off so we could cross the bridge and take a few photos. He was waiting for us on the other side. During the drive to and from, Rasso explained/pointed out do much to us. We learned a lot from him. Not only was he an amazing driver ( navigating the autobahn in the rain and we hit some traffic due to am accident), but an amazing tour guide ( we weren't expecting to get one). He might be the best tour guide/ driver we've ever had! He was funny, personable, knowledgeable, and a great driver! I hope everyone gets a chance to have a day with Rasso- he's amazing and made the trip even better than we hoped! A huge highlight on our vacation!

Tough Ride
To start, our driver did and excellent job, negative review is no reflection on him. It was for transportation only I was told when we called from Rothenburg looking for our guide. However ticket I received said guide not driver. They told me it was a typo error and apologized. I told the agent had I known that I would have cancelled, ticket I felt was misleading stating Guide. 3 Hours each way in a small van with face to face back seats so 3 people had to ride backwards. front two seats were cramped. so basically we had 4 hours, We opted to stay in Rothenburg and made the best of it there with a good lunch. We were told the castle is 40 minute drive which would have cut everything way too short. Do your homework, all our other Viator booked tours over the years were great and certainly would use them again.

This was an amazing experience. Our tour guide, Mr. Rasso was out of this world. Couldn’t have asked for anyone better. he was friendly, knowledgable, accommodating, and excellent. Gave invaluable suggestions and recommendations during the entire trip. Went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. We had an awesome time.

This tour was an amazing experience.. There were a total of 16 of us so we booked 2 separate tours.. However, the company reached out to me and combined both tours into a single tour that enabled 16 of us to travel together.. Our tour guide, Mr. Rasso was amazing.. He was informative, friendly, knowledgeable, and gave some awesome suggestions.. Highly recommended tour

Rothenburg and Harburg from Munich
We had a great time on this tour. The driver/guide is super nice and accommodating. Rothenburg is a beautiful village and we had a nice visit at the Harburg Castle and village. Just need to be prepared for a long drive. The weather was perfect and the trip is recommended.
