Philip was an excellent...
Philip was an excellent tour guide. He was more like a family and took care of every small detail. He even took a detour to make the experience even better!!!
Response from the operator: Dear Tannu, thank you. It was a wonderful day with you.

Incredible beauty on the water, and historic salt mines
The unique beauty of this area is something not to be missed. The cruises are really fun and informative. Many provide a taste of the local Krauter Liqueur--Jagermeister is perhaps the most commonly known such drink in the US. The salt mines in this part of the world have been used for centuries. Some were also used by the Nazis to hide the art, treasures and money stolen during World War II as made famous by the movie "Momunent Men"
Response from the operator: Thank you, we are glad that you enjoyed the Berchtesgaden Area.

The Kings lake
The tour was a great experience. It is well worth going on. The lake and the surrounding mountains are breathtakingly beautiful Going up to Hitler’s eagle nest was equally fantastic. The views from there are amazing. Philip the guide was great. He gave us options as to what we could do. I highly recommend this tour
Response from the operator: Dear Sherri, thank your. It was a pleasure showing your the Bavarian Alps, lake Königssee (Kings Lake) and driving up to the Eagles Nest.

Very nice day
Busy day but with a very good organization. Fortunately, organized with Philip, at the foot of the accommodation, who knows this organization inside out and who has oiled all this machinery. This has a cost, but without it, the visits could not have taken place. We had also chosen not to visit the salt mines, and it was a good choice because we enjoyed the lake all morning with a very nice walk, then the Eagle's Nest where we spent the afternoon. It was a reasonable pace, as there is a lot of road to get to this place
Response from the operator: Dear Isabelle, thank you. We had a wonderful day with you and your Family.

Berchtesgaden and Konigsee
We enjoyed the driver taking us around where we wanted … really worth the money…. He spoke fluent English and could explain
Response from the operator: Thank you Henry, it was a pleasure Chauffeuring and guiding you around the Bavarian Alps.

Munich Lake Konigssee and Berchtesgaden Salt Mine Private Tour with Lake Cruise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Munich.
How much does Munich Lake Konigssee and Berchtesgaden Salt Mine Private Tour with Lake Cruise cost?
+
Prices start at $1415 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Munich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Munich Lake Konigssee and Berchtesgaden Salt Mine Private Tour with Lake Cruise take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Munich is not rushed.
Is Munich Lake Konigssee and Berchtesgaden Salt Mine Private Tour with Lake Cruise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Munich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Munich Lake Konigssee and Berchtesgaden Salt Mine Private Tour with Lake Cruise?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Munich Lake Konigssee and Berchtesgaden Salt Mine Private Tour with Lake Cruise suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Munich Lake Konigssee and Berchtesgaden Salt Mine Private Tour with Lake Cruise?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Munich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Munich and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Munich Lake Konigssee and Berchtesgaden Salt Mine Private Tour with Lake Cruise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Munich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Munich?
+
On Outty we rank every Munich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site Tour with Train from Munich, Munich Classic Bike Tour @ 11.30am with Surfers & beergarden stop, Dachau Memorial Half-Day Tour from Munich (Early-Start). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Munich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Munich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
