Great time had!!
My twelve yr old daughter chose this as her activity when we were on holiday in Munich. We enjoyed it as a family and got lots of lovely photos, she had a great time!! Our 5 year old doesn't enjoy his photo taken so it wasn't his thing, We should of taken a toy for him to play with while we were taking photos with our daughter.
Response from the operator: Dear Caroline, thank you very much for your lovely review! We’re really happy to hear that your daughter chose Magic Bavaria and that you had a great time together as a family. It’s wonderful that you were able to capture so many nice memories with your photos. You’re absolutely right, for children who are not so keen on taking pictures, the experience can feel a bit different. Your idea of bringing a small toy is actually a great tip for other families as well. Thank you again for visiting us and for sharing your experience. We hope to welcome you again on a future trip to Munich. Kind regards, Magic Bavaria Team

Disappointing.
Not suitable for older kids (teens). I can see younger children being excited about this. But 2 rooms in a basement of props to take photos just didn’t cut it for teens. It’s not what it looks like online, imagine the same but less flashy and fancy. We tried to make the most of it but it was a huge disappointment for 2 kids that love magic and optical illusions. And the price? Crazy for what you actually get.
Response from the operator: It’s a pity that your visit wasn’t as enjoyable as you had hoped. We’re sorry to hear that the experience didn’t fully meet your family’s expectations. Our rooms and illusions are designed for guests of all ages, though we understand that teens sometimes look for different kinds of experiences. Usually, our visitors leave with lots of fun and creative photos, and we’ll gladly take your feedback into account to keep improving our sets and guidance. Best regards Your Magic Bavaria Team

It was a lot of fun to...
It was a lot of fun to play around with the different sets. The staff we're really friendly and even took a photo for us. Mum hadn't laughed that much on years she said. If you got an hour spare and not sure where to go I really do recommend visiting.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for the lovely words! We’re happy to hear that you had such a fun time – and that we could make your family and you laugh that much again. Hope to see you again for more magic moments!

Sadly just not worth the Price….some of the Motivs are not really good and you won‘t get nice pictures out of it.
Sadly irs way too overpriced and some of the motuves are not really thought-through and don‘t work properly… we got 2-3 nice pictures out of the tour for around 20€
Response from the operator: It’s a pity that your visit wasn’t as enjoyable as you had hoped. We can assure you that all our motifs are thought-through and work properly. Usually, our guests leave with lots of fun and creative photos. For some sets (like action scenes) it can be a bit tricky without the right guidance. That's why our team is always on hand to help and assist with photos, so that our visitors can make the most of their visit. If this was not the case during your visit, we would like to apologise. Best regards Your Magic Bavaria Team

This place is a pathetic scam—-it’s a greatly overhyped children’s play place and the closest to “magic” you get is goofy cheap photoshoots. Would NOT reccomend.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your visit didn’t meet your expectations. While many of our guests enjoy the interactive illusions and photo experiences, we understand that it’s not for everyone. Your feedback helps us reflect and improve – and we do appreciate you taking the time to let us know.

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Munich: Magic Bavaria Interactive Museum Photo Experience Ticket: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Munich.
How much does Munich: Magic Bavaria Interactive Museum Photo Experience Ticket cost?
+
Prices start at $27 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Munich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Munich: Magic Bavaria Interactive Museum Photo Experience Ticket take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Munich is not rushed.
Is Munich: Magic Bavaria Interactive Museum Photo Experience Ticket worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 97 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Munich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Munich: Magic Bavaria Interactive Museum Photo Experience Ticket?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Munich: Magic Bavaria Interactive Museum Photo Experience Ticket suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Munich: Magic Bavaria Interactive Museum Photo Experience Ticket?
+
Around 34 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Munich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Munich and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Munich: Magic Bavaria Interactive Museum Photo Experience Ticket start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Munich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Munich?
+
On Outty we rank every Munich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site Tour with Train from Munich, Munich Classic Bike Tour @ 11.30am with Surfers & beergarden stop, Dachau Memorial Half-Day Tour from Munich (Early-Start). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Munich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Munich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
