Street food and laundry tour.
Very nice guide—attractive and people-oriented. The laundry tour was a good experience, and the food tour was great. At first, some food spots made us worried about our stomachs, but in the end there were no issues at all. Without him, I definitely would not have tried the Mumbai street food experience
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed both the laundry visit and the street food tour. Street food in Mumbai can feel a little intimidating at first, so we’re especially glad our guide helped you feel comfortable and confident enough to try it—and even happier to know you enjoyed it without any worries in the end 😊. That’s exactly why our guides focus on safe, well-chosen spots and explain everything along the way. We truly appreciate your kind words about our guide’s people skills and approach. Thank you for trusting us, and we hope to welcome you again for another Mumbai experience! Warm regards, Mumbai Dream Tours Team

More than just the food!
Top notch experience for foodies! As we were nearing the end of the Dharavi Slum tour, we were worried that we’d be pressed for time. Abhishek met us at Dharavi and took us in a taxi and then on the train to the Chowpatty street food market. This experience in and of itself was so valuable as it personalised the tour and taught us a lot about transport in India. Abhishek taught us about 3G when crossing the road: good eyes, good legs and good luck! 😉 The food tour itself was great, as we had the sunset in the background and wonderful company. Abhishek is a people-first tour guide, a deep thinker and kindly mannered. He understood that some meals may not be eaten in their entirety and was kind enough to offer breaks in between and suggest shared plates as to avoid wastage - we’re really glad he had such a conscientious approach to food. We finished off with an excellent chai and ice cream that was out of this world. Food was amazing, I struggled a bit as I’m only beginning to get the hang of Mumbai cuisine, but my partner could eat each course all day everyday! Abhishek took us back to the station so we could head back to Bandra. He explained everything so clearly and we were grateful to arrive safe and sound at home with a newfound knowledge for not only the food, but Mumbai’s transport infrastructure as well! Thank you! Highly recommended!
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your fantastic experience on our Mumbai Street Food Tour with Abhishek! We're thrilled to hear that the tour was more than just about food—it was a true cultural immersion, from navigating Mumbai’s transport system to learning local tips like the 3G rule! 😊 Abhishek’s thoughtful approach and passion for sharing Mumbai’s culinary and urban landscape make him an exceptional guide, and we’re delighted that he could make your experience both insightful and enjoyable. It’s wonderful to know that you appreciated his mindful take on food consumption and that you enjoyed ending the tour with that unforgettable chai and ice cream! We truly appreciate your kind words and recommendation. We hope to welcome you again for more memorable experiences in Mumbai!

Great Food Toir
Exactly what we wishes for - we met Rakesh at pre arranged meet, train to the first stop and we tried a variety of great vegetarian dishes at the local beach and then onto the market to have meat and ice cream. This was without a doubt the highlight of our trip & made special by Rakesh’s great commentary.

Must do tour when in Mumbai
What a great tour. Our tour guide Rakesh spoke great English and he was great company. He was really insightful about not just the food, but all things about Mumbai. His knowledge was great. Of course the food was great as-well, everything we had was delicious. We tried food and went to places we would not have seen otherwise. I highly highly recommend Mumbai Dream Tours and Rakesh to anyone wanting. Thank you Rakesh for a great evening.

Why this scores 57

Mumbai Street Food Tour with Sunset View: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mumbai.
How much does Mumbai Street Food Tour with Sunset View cost?
+
Prices start at $4000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mumbai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mumbai Street Food Tour with Sunset View take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mumbai is not rushed.
Is Mumbai Street Food Tour with Sunset View worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mumbai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mumbai Street Food Tour with Sunset View?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mumbai Street Food Tour with Sunset View suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mumbai Street Food Tour with Sunset View?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mumbai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mumbai and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mumbai Street Food Tour with Sunset View start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mumbai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mumbai?
+
On Outty we rank every Mumbai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Elephanta Caves & Island Guided Private Tour, Dharavi Slum Tour, Mumbai: Dharavi Slum & Dhobi Ghat Laundry Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mumbai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mumbai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
