Worth the trip!
Our tour with Mr Abilash was fantastic. He is extremely knowledgeable and took us to the most beautiful sites in the Munnar Valley. I highly recommend spending a few days exploring Munnar with him! Dont miss the sunrise view point

Unforgettable 2-Day Munnar Experience with Mr. Abilash
Mr. Abilash was an exceptional guide and made our 2-day tour in Munnar truly unforgettable. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and thoughtfully planned. His deep knowledge of the area, combined with a warm and professional attitude, made the experience both enriching and very enjoyable. The visit to the Lockhart Tea Factory was fascinating and very well explained, giving us great insight into the tea-making process and the history of the region. The sunrise at Kolukkumalai Sunrise View Point was absolutely breathtaking—easily one of the highlights of the trip. Reaching the world’s highest tea plantation early in the morning and watching the sun rise above the clouds was a magical experience, perfectly timed thanks to Mr. Abilash. The visit to Mattupetty Dam and Lake was equally beautiful and relaxing, offering stunning scenery and a peaceful atmosphere.

Good visit to Kochi
This visit was part of our third private tour with 5 Senses (first tour, So. India for a month; second No. India for 5.5 weeks; third East and South India, one month). You might have guessed that we are very happy with the company. All three tours were fantastic, this one no exception. Kochi is a nice, smaller city. It was unseasonably hot and humid while we were there, but restricting our activities to mornings and evenings helped. The Kathakali dance and martial arts demonstrations were worth attending. Our 5 Senses ambassador helped us find a massage studio, in addition to the local sights. Don't miss the Ginger House Museum Hotel in Kochi. All the rooms are modern in function, but constructed and decorated with superb antiques. When we asked for a second bed to be added to our (huge) room, instead of a folding cot, they brought in a 120-y-o, disassembled bed and put it together on the spot, with a real mattress. Incredible service! The primary strength of 5 Senses is its people. The owner, Mr. Narayanan, is a great travel planning partner (he’ll work with you to craft exactly the trip you want) and he is super-responsive during trips if any problems arise. I am confident that Narayanan will fix it if it needs fixing—he has helped us several times in that way, and he has done it quickly. The state-based “cultural ambassadors” he has recruited (the guides who accompany you for days, across multiple sites) are excellent and soon become friends. For this month-long tour, I’d particularly like to call out Kannan (Tamil Nadu) and Mohan, and Chandra Shekar (Karnataka). If you are touring other parts of the country, we highly recommend Balwinder (Punjab and Rajasthan) and Vivek and Ram Sewak (Varanasi, Khajuraho and environs). It is basically a fool’s errand to try to price shop local tour operators—there are too many variables, including the type of accommodation, the quality of guides and the quality of transport (both of which can’t be assessed ahead of time). That said, over the course of the three tours, we feel that 5 Senses has been very good value for money. And I can say for certain that you would pay three times as much for the same Smithsonian or Nat Geo or other corporate tour, plus you’d be on a bus with many other folks and stuck with the group schedule. With 5 Senses you’re in your own car deciding where and when you want to go, where you want to eat, and when you want to take it easy. My advice to friends looking for a private tour in India is “don’t bother contacting other companies, just talk to 5 Senses. You won’t regret it.”

Nice tour throughout Kerala.
We had a good time on this quick trip around Kerala. We booked this at the last moment when we were trying to figure out some options and we had a good time. There was a little too much driving involved as going through the windy mountains was a little tough for motion sickness. We also would have liked some more activities planned as it was generally 1 activity per day which left us with a lot of free time. The boat tour in Aleppy was probably the highlight as it was a nice relaxing tour along the canals in a private boat. Manjunith was our driver and was always on time and very pleasant. Overall, we enjoyed our tour and would recommend it but would likely spend a little more time exploring the options and understanding the driving distances between locations.

Amazing Kerala
This tour is over 5 days and perfect to see the best of Kerala. We enjoyed the backwater houseboat immensely. The other big highlight was the wild life safari at Periyar sanctuary. We saw elephants for the first time! Mohan was an amazing host and driver. He made this trip very memorable. Very highly recommended.

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Multi Day Private Guided Tour of Kerala from Kochi by Car: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kochi.
How much does Multi Day Private Guided Tour of Kerala from Kochi by Car cost?
+
Prices start at $1190 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kochi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Multi Day Private Guided Tour of Kerala from Kochi by Car take?
+
Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kochi is not rushed.
Is Multi Day Private Guided Tour of Kerala from Kochi by Car worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Kochi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Multi Day Private Guided Tour of Kerala from Kochi by Car?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Multi Day Private Guided Tour of Kerala from Kochi by Car suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 144-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Multi Day Private Guided Tour of Kerala from Kochi by Car?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kochi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kochi and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Multi Day Private Guided Tour of Kerala from Kochi by Car start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kochi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kochi?
+
On Outty we rank every Kochi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kochi Sightseeing Tuk-Tuk Tour, Local Kochi Sightseeing Tuk-Tuk Tour, Kochi Sightseeing Tuk-Tuk Tour with Pickup From Cruise Ships. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kochi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kochi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
