Patong Boxing Stadium
Basically, there are two types of Thai boxing in Patong: the staged stuff and the real McCoy. For the real article look no further than Patong Boxing Stadium on Sai Namyen Road. Talk about an atmosphere. Surrounding the ring are the more expensive seats and further out are blue-painted bleachers providing a bird's eye view of the proceedings.

Great cultural experience
This was a great cultural experience. It was lots of fun, intense, but great sportsmanship and friendly atmosphere. We sat ring side and had great drink service throughout the night and even got a free t-shirt.
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We are thrilled to hear you had such a great time at Patong Stadium. We take great pride in maintaining that balance of intense, high-level Muay Thai with a friendly, sportsmanlike atmosphere. It’s great to know you enjoyed the ringside experience and our drink service—and we’re glad you got your hands on a free t-shirt! There really is no better way to soak up the local culture than being right next to the action. We hope to see you back at the ringside again soon! Thanks, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)

Wanted to see some muay...
Wanted to see some muay thai fights, but wasn't sure about going to the ring. So glad we went, the venue is set up very well, I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. The fights were great and energy was amazing. Plenty of taxis, grabs, or tuk tuks after the fights to take you home.
Response from the operator: Dear Jason, Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear that you decided to go and ended up having such a great time at the Muay Thai matches in Patong. It’s great to know the venue layout, exciting atmosphere, and energy of the crowd all made it a memorable experience for you. We’re also glad you found the transport after the event convenient — it’s always nice to end the night on a smooth note. Thanks again for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back for another action-packed evening in the future! Warm regards, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)

Great night out
It was very entertaining with a great friendly atmosphere. The people were very helpful, when getting home it will be better to walk to the main road before ordering a taxi as they charge alot from the stadium
Response from the operator: Dear Skye, Thank you for sharing your experience at Patong Boxing Stadium! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the exciting atmosphere and found the staff helpful. Your tip about walking to the main road for a taxi is valuable advice for future visitors. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back for another thrilling Muay Thai match! Definitely worth seeing
I really enjoyed the Muay Thai, but the bench seats aren't great. It's worth paying extra for the decent seats round the ringside as the benches get uncomfortable after a couple of hours. The evening starts off with the young teens fighting and proceeds to older and heavier weight classes. Loads of good fighting, plenty of blood.
Response from the operator: Hi Steve, Thank you for sharing your experience at the Patong Boxing Stadium! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the Muay Thai fights and appreciated the progression from younger fighters to the more experienced, heavier weight classes. It sounds like a night filled with action and excitement. We understand your point about the bench seating and agree that upgrading to ringside seats can enhance comfort, especially for longer events. Your feedback is helpful for future guests who want to make the most of their evening. Thank you for attending and for your recommendation! Thanks, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Muay Thai Boxing Match Action – Patong Stadium: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phuket.
How much does Muay Thai Boxing Match Action – Patong Stadium cost?
+
Prices start at $2050 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phuket usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Muay Thai Boxing Match Action – Patong Stadium take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phuket is not rushed.
Is Muay Thai Boxing Match Action – Patong Stadium worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 23 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Phuket, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Muay Thai Boxing Match Action – Patong Stadium?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Muay Thai Boxing Match Action – Patong Stadium suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Muay Thai Boxing Match Action – Patong Stadium?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phuket can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phuket and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Muay Thai Boxing Match Action – Patong Stadium start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phuket within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Phuket?
+
On Outty we rank every Phuket experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Southern Flavors Phuket Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, James Bond Island by Big Boat w/ Sea Cave Canoeing and Lunch, Phang Nga Bay Canoeing & James Bond Island Tour from Phuket. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Phuket?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Phuket?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
