What you'll see and do
Patong Boxing Stadium
Basically, there are two types of Thai boxing in Patong: the staged stuff and the real McCoy. For the real article look no further than Patong Boxing Stadium on Sai Namyen Road. Talk about an atmosphere. Surrounding the ring are the more expensive seats and further out are blue-painted bleachers providing a bird's eye view of the proceedings.

A Fun Night!
Such a fun night! We had the greatest experience watching the Muay Thai fights and learning and understanding about the sport as a whole. We were there from 8:45pm until 11:15pm as some of the fights were called before the end of the rounds. Staff providing refreshments were amazing and the crowds weren’t too big at all. An unbelievable atmosphere and we loved the music accompanying the fights! I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting to get a real taste of Thai culture!

An Entertaining Evening
This event was well organised. Our tickets were waiting for us on arrival and we were escorted to our ringside seats. Definitely worth the extra, as the stadium seats are more like bleachers. We had an excellent view. Someone came round to take drinks and food orders. It was reasonably priced. Afterwards, there were plenty of taxis and tuk tuks available. Just ensure you head to PATONG Boxing Stadium, as BANGLA Boxing Stadium is also located in Patong, with fights starting at 9pm.
Response from the operator: Dear Julie_B, Thank you for taking the time to share your review on Viator! We are thrilled to hear that you had an entertaining evening at the Muay Thai Boxing Showdown at Patong Stadium. It is wonderful to know that everything went smoothly from arrival to seating, and that upgrading to ringside seats provided you with such an excellent view and experience. Thank you also for including that brilliant tip for future travelers regarding the distinction between Patong Boxing Stadium and Bangla Boxing Stadium! Clear directions make all the difference, and fellow guests will certainly appreciate the heads-up. Thank you for choosing IAsia Thailand. We hope you had a fantastic trip to Phuket, and we look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit! Warmest regards, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)

Fake
This was a tourist trap .. a couple genuine fights with local Thai’s sparing off. When the foreign fighters came on , paired with half wits who hadn’t trained in years. Of course title matches… and foreigner won.. the Thai guys would fall down and collapse even when I punch or kick didn’t land
Response from the operator: Dear Robert, Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent experience at the Patong Stadium Muay Thai show. We take all guest feedback seriously, and we are sorry to hear that the matches did not meet your expectations. We would like to reassure you that this venue is not a tourist trap; Patong Stadium is a widely recognized arena where fighters from all over the world come to compete, with matches and results regularly recorded on official sports websites and covered by the local press. The fight cards feature a mix of local Thai athletes and international fighters across various experience levels to showcase the sport. However, we appreciate your perspective as a spectator, and we will pass your comments along to the stadium management for their review. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Warm regards, Paul

Thursday night fights was...
Thursday night fights was a great first night in Patong. It’s not just a fight. There’s a cultural element to it. Made it very interesting. The two fights that we saw were very good. There were five fights in total, but we had an early morning the next day. I would definitely suggest this Tour.
Response from the operator: Dear johnchic, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! We are thrilled to hear that the Thursday night fights were a fantastic start to your time in Patong. It is great that you appreciated the cultural elements of the Muay Thai Showdown—it truly is so much more than just a sport, and those deep-rooted traditions are what make the evening so special. We are glad the two bouts you caught were exciting! Leaving early to catch some rest before a busy morning makes perfect sense, and we are happy the time you did spend at the stadium was memorable. Thank you again for highly recommending this tour to others. We hope to welcome you back on another adventure soon! Best regards, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)

Great venue
The one thing my kids (11 and 13) wanted to see while in Thailand was a Muay Thai fight and this place was great. Good seats, waiter service, and great fights at a good price.

We are so glad to hear that the highlight of your kids' trip lived up to their expectations. Patong Stadium offers a fantastic atmosphere, and we are happy you enjoyed the ringside service and the quality of the fights. It’s always great to see the younger generation getting inspired by Thailand’s national sport! We hope the rest of your holiday is just as exciting. Best regards, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)

Muay Thai Boxing Showdown at Patong Stadium: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phuket.
How much does Muay Thai Boxing Showdown at Patong Stadium cost?
+
Prices start at $2050 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phuket usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Muay Thai Boxing Showdown at Patong Stadium take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phuket is not rushed.
Is Muay Thai Boxing Showdown at Patong Stadium worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 64 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Phuket, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Muay Thai Boxing Showdown at Patong Stadium?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Muay Thai Boxing Showdown at Patong Stadium suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Muay Thai Boxing Showdown at Patong Stadium?
+
Around 22 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phuket can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phuket and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Muay Thai Boxing Showdown at Patong Stadium start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phuket within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Phuket?
+
On Outty we rank every Phuket experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Southern Flavors Phuket Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Phuket Thai Cooking Class with Market Tour Option, James Bond Island by Big Boat w/ Sea Cave Canoeing and Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Phuket?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Phuket?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
