About this experience
You will summit the highest peak in North Africa in two days. The excursion begins and concludes in the bustling city of Marrakech, and it includes transportation to and from the mountain village of Imlil. Throughout our hike, you will experience amazing nature with a local guide who is fluent in English, a native cook, and mules to help carry our gear. Make sure you bring your camera with you, because the views from the top of the mountain are just breathtaking. Mount Toubkal, at 4,167 meters, is the highest mountain in North Africa. It is a hiking peak, meaning that there is no climbing involved The plan was created with avid hikers in mind, since the ascent is not technically difficult but does entail some simple scrambling and snow slopes.

Mount Toubkal 2 day ascent express trek
Booked the trip via Get your Guide and Marrakech tours. Paid £120 per person for a return transfer to the start of the trek from Marrakech, a local guide named Mohamed Bewajamor, a cook named also Mohamed, luggage transportation via mules, a night in a dorm Refuge and meals ( 1 x breakfast, 2 x lunches and 1 x Dinner) Really superb value!!! The real star of the trek was our guide Mohamed Bewajamor. Ask for his services as he was extremely patient and encouraging as the Trek was really strenuous. The trek itself should not be underestimated. Both myself and my brother in law didn't make it to the summit. It's very strenuous and a mixture of high 30s degrees temperatures and altitude. The first day you walk to an altitude of 3200 metres Andy stay in accommodation called a Refuge. The next day at 3am we attempted to walk to Mount Toubkal summit at 4300 metres. This proved beyond my fitness levels but many younger, fitter wdlkers succeeded. Overall a major highlight of my trip to Morocco and thoroughly recommend Mohamed Bewajamor our guide.

The best company we could have!
From the start till the end.. this was the best choice what we could get. Mohamed is trying to do much more than just guide you. I appreciate his kindness and.. “don’t worry, everything is ok, I can handle it, no matter what it takes” attitude. Thank you for you and hope to see you again! Roberta & Erik

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Mt Toubkal Ascent Express Trek 2 Days 1 Night: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Mt Toubkal Ascent Express Trek 2 Days 1 Night cost?
+
Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mt Toubkal Ascent Express Trek 2 Days 1 Night take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Mt Toubkal Ascent Express Trek 2 Days 1 Night worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mt Toubkal Ascent Express Trek 2 Days 1 Night?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mt Toubkal Ascent Express Trek 2 Days 1 Night suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 11. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Mt Toubkal Ascent Express Trek 2 Days 1 Night?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mt Toubkal Ascent Express Trek 2 Days 1 Night start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
