    Incredible Experience

This was easily our favorite day while in the Amalfi Coast. We did the mozzarella class and tour of Ravello with Daniele. The mozzarella class was a blast, the food we made was incredible and we had plenty of wine during the process. Daniele was an amazing tour guide and provided many insights during our drive from Positano to Ravello. I would highly recommend this tour, it was amazing!

Fabulous tour and pizza making class

We had the best time in Ravello making pizza , wine tasting and olive oil tasting. Daniele was the sweetest man! Took lots of pictures of our experience, was super professional and just a pleasure to be around. He set everything up for us and drove us along the coast for Sorrento. Provided history along the drive. He also was our private transportation to and from Naples which I highly recommend him for that as well. Daniele made our trip to Sorrento and amalfi coast one we will never forget. We highly recommend using Daniele for your tours and experiences. We can’t wait to come back.

    Top-Notch, Family-Friendly Pizza Making Class!

Daniele again was the best. We are returning clients - this time, we arrived via cruise ship in Naples with a 5-year old along for the ride. We asked Daniele for some family-friendly suggestions and he suggested the pizza-making class. This experience was INCREDIBLE. Daniele picked us up at the ship in Naples, and drove us straight to Ravello. Here, we had a few minutes to shop and grab a coffee before the class began. The pizza-making class that was arranged at Da Nanno Alfonso was unreal. It was a multi-hour experience where the three of us were walked through the making of the dough and entire process for making a Neopolitan pizza. We finished by topping and cooking our own pizzas. Our 5-year old daughter just loved the experience, and they were SO great with kids. A multicourse meal was prepared with appetizers and finally the pizza that we'd baked ourselves. We could not have asked for a better time. After the class, we had a few hours to wonder around Ravello and take in the views. We'd been up and down the Amalfi with Daniele on a previous trip, so we took our time in Ravello this time. Danielle ensured we got back to Naples with plently of time to spare before our ship departed - and even had time for a stop for a Limoncello tasting! I cannot recommend Daniele enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our time during our short stay in the region, and highly recommend Wine Tour Amalfi Coast to anyone spending time in the region - or even there on for a day! Particularly, the pizza making class was top-notch and a perfect, family-friendly activity that our daughter enjoyed every bit as much as her mom and dad!

    Amazing time

We did the Mozzarella Making Class. Our instructor was a 4th Generation Cheese Master. He was fun, funny and a blast to hang out with. We ate various cheeses on a shaded street side table with a magnificent view of Scala. The tour guide (Salvatore) did an incredible job making our experience something we will hold dear to our hearts for a very long time. Highly recommend this excursion!

    Amazing experience

My wife and I booked a day trip thru Danielle. Salvatore was our driver and tour guide. The communication leading up to our the day of our excursion was top notch. Salvatore picked us up promptly on time. Salvatore is from Amalfi and was happy to share his knowledge of the area. He made amazing recommendations for places to get the best Limincello & Gelato in Amalfi. He even helped us with making a dinner reservation at a place near our BnB. Salvatore was the best. If and when we return, we will look for him again. Now for a review of the Mozzarella making class. The owner of the cheese shop is a 4th generation cheese Master. The mozzarella making experience was super fun and exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommend it. The cheese Master was super friendly (the kind of happiness that comes from doing what you love). We tasted 4-5 different kinds of cheese, some salami (local, of course) paired with Preseco. This day will be the highlight of our trip and we recommend it to everyone. You will not be disappointed.

Response from the operator: Grazie mille Felipe. I am so happy to read your amazing review. Grazie mille. Come as guests leave as friends . Warmest regards Daniele

Mozzarella Class or Pizza Class: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amalfi.

How much does Mozzarella Class or Pizza Class cost?

    +

Prices start at $575 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amalfi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Mozzarella Class or Pizza Class take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amalfi is not rushed.

Is Mozzarella Class or Pizza Class worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Amalfi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Mozzarella Class or Pizza Class?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Mozzarella Class or Pizza Class suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Mozzarella Class or Pizza Class?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amalfi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amalfi and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Mozzarella Class or Pizza Class start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amalfi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Amalfi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Amalfi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hands-On Cooking Class & Farmhouse Tour on the Amalfi Coast, Amalfi Coast Boat Rental: Explore, Swim, and Relax at Your Pace, Amalfi: Kayak-Snorkeling to Pandora Cave Hidden Beach & Aperitif. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Amalfi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Amalfi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
