What you'll see and do
Neretva Hotel
Echoes of Elegance and Decay One of Mostar’s architectural gems, Hotel Neretva has recently been restored to reflect its original Austro-Hungarian elegance. Once left in ruins after the war, it stood for years as a symbol of destruction — often surrounded by raw graffiti and informal street art.
10 minutes here
As you stand in front of these facades, you’ll hear stories about the artists behind them, the creative process, and what it means to live among this art every day — including personal memories from when these murals were being painted, and the time we spent with the artists during their breaks.
40 minutes here
OKC Abrasevic
OKC Abrašević is not just a venue — it’s a living cultural hub. Surrounded by raw urban textures and experimental murals, this space has long been a meeting point for young creatives, activists, and artists.
10 minutes here
Spanish square
The elegant Austro-Hungarian Mostar Gymnasium reflects the city’s multicultural past, while nearby graffiti and stencils show how young artists reclaim the space today. You’ll also see the Monument to the Spanish Fighters and hear how this area evolved — from wartime division to a space of expression, protest, and quiet reflection.

Such stunning artwork!...
Such stunning artwork! Mak did an excellent job of showing us various art pieces around Mostar and explaining bits of history and culture that made the pieces much more impactful. We just managed to squeeze this tour in during our short stay and I'm so glad we did. It was by far one of my favorite activities during our stay in Bosnia.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this lovely review! Mak&Ema 🫶

A Must-Do in Mostar!
I had booked this street art tour, and an old town private walking tour for the same day. When I met my guide, Mak, turns out it was only me on both tours, and so we set off for several hours of fascinating insight into local history, culture, street art, and so much more. As he lives in the neighborhood where many of the street art pieces are located, Mak has met several of the artists and clearly has a deep appreciation for this style of art. I also gained more context and nuance around the war, as well as the lived experience in post-Communist Herzegovina, and we veered into discussion around politics, education, cost of living and so much more about our two countries. Truly, this tour and my experience talking to Mak was the highlight of my time in BiH, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you, Mak!!

Super Tour
Wow highlight of my Mostar trip. I would super highly recommend. You will learn the history behind each piece of art. Feel like you are in the artist mind and the soul of Bosnia. Just a super worthwhile tour. If you only do one thing in Mostar besides old town. Don’t miss this.
Response from the operator: Thank You Trager, for all the compliments and kind words. Such a positive Sunday where I was overwhelmed with great energy and company. Greetings from Herzegovina, and I really hope that You are fully enjoying Your travels around the world. I wish You a safe and memorable trip and hope to see You soon, dear friend.

Mostar Street Art & Murals Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mostar.
How much does Mostar Street Art & Murals Tour cost?

Prices start at $26 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mostar usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mostar Street Art & Murals Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mostar is not rushed.
Is Mostar Street Art & Murals Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mostar, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mostar Street Art & Murals Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mostar Street Art & Murals Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mostar Street Art & Murals Tour?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mostar can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mostar and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mostar Street Art & Murals Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mostar within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mostar?
+
On Outty we rank every Mostar experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Herzegovina Day Tour from Mostar: Blagaj, Pocitej, Kravice falls (Join Us! :D), Discover Herzegovina Day Tour from Mostar: Kravice Waterfalls, Blagaj, Počitelj, Break-up of Yugoslavia & The War in Mostar: Life Under Siege. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mostar?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mostar?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Mostar Street Art & Murals Tour?
