Knowledge shared with a personal touch
What an exceptional day that was tailored to our desires. We hit not only Mostar, but continued north to Sarajevo to explore. Our driver Aljosa was fantastic and very knowledgeable, helping us to plan our day and driving in horrible weather. Over 15 hours, but we always felt safe with him and his driving. He also helped us to explore Dubrovnik and the history of the area. Thank you for your knowledge and friendship Aljosa!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for these kind words. Fifteen hours together is a long day, especially with bad weather, so it really means a lot to hear that you felt safe and comfortable the whole time. That’s always the most important thing. Aljoša truly enjoys sharing stories, history, and just spending the day with great people so hearing that you felt it was personal and friendly will make him very happy. Thank you again for choosing us. It honestly felt like spending the day with friends. Hope we see you again one day. Best regards, DTTA TEAM

Fantastic day spent with Aljosa!
Aljosa led my friend and I on an amazing day tour from Dubrovnik to Sarajevo and back again. This is no small feat, the hours were very long and with rainy driving conditions. We stopped to visit Blagaj Tekija, a 15th century monestary/mosque built into the rock face, near a beautiful natural spring. I highly recommend asking for this stop if you are making a similar route. It’s beautiful and interesting for photographers. Aljosa was full of local and historical knowledge, stopped at scenic overlooks along the way, was conscientious about our comforts and needs thru the entire day. A true professional, yet genuine and kind. We made a great friend in Dubrovnik. Thank you, Aljonso!!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted you enjoyed the day trip to Mostar, Blagaj Tekija and Kravice Waterfalls. Aljoša truly is a professional who loves sharing local history and hidden gems, and your kind words mean a lot to all of us. It was a pleasure having you with us in Dubrovnik, we hope to welcome you again soon! 😊 Best regards DTTA TEAM

Our best day in Dubrovnik!
Our tour guide - Aljoša - was the best we had out of all 7 tour guides we’ve had in Croatia. Specifically for this tour, he was from Bosnia & Herzegovina making it all the more impactful. He was over-the-top eager to please, extra anccompdating, and was determined to make sure we had the best time possible. Mostar was a charming little spot with unexpected color. Then we went to a tobacco museum for lunch and this blew our mind! Aljoša ordered us an authentic meal, the atmosphere was very posh, and was just what we needed to fuel up before the waterfalls. They were impressive and a great backdrop for pictures, but was incredibly cold for swimming so taper your expectations. Would for sure recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We’re delighted to hear that Aljoša made such a great impression and helped create a memorable experience for you in Mostar and at Kravice Waterfalls. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with him. It means a lot to us that you would recommend the tour, and we hope to welcome you again on another adventure soon! Kind regards DTTA team

Best tour guide! Thoughtful, engaging, & made our day effortless and memorable.
We had a fantastic experience on this tour!! Our guide, Aljosa, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the full day both comfortable and fun. We like to book guided tours early in our trips so we don’t have to drive and navigate in a new country while jet-lagged, and this was a big win for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 adult children ages 18 & 21). Aljosa made the long drive to Mostar from Dubrovnik more engaging with his stories and his willingness to answer all our questions (from personal to political!) in a way that was both informative and easy to understand. Once in Mostar, we explored the bridge and markets, he took family photos for us, and even treated us to traditional coffee (and an ice cream for the 18 year old), which was such a thoughtful touch. At Kravice waterfalls, he gave us plenty of time to relax and swim without rushing us. When we decided we wanted something less crowded/less touristy for a late lunch, Aljosa took us to “Tabak” in Bosnia & Herzegovina. The place was super unique and the food was outstanding; hyper-local dishes we wouldn’t have ordered without his guidance, but were delicious! We all genuinely enjoyed dining with him. This full-day tour does involve a lot of driving, but Aljosa strikes the perfect balance between conversation and quiet (ideal when a few of us were dozing in the car). His intuition about when to engage, when to step back, and when to adjust plans made our entire day feel easy and personal, never scripted or awkward. It felt like traveling with a friend who just knew how to make your visit easy and comfortable. We enjoyed his company and professionalism so much that we hired him again the next day for a transfer from the Sheraton to Dubrovnik Old Town, where he showed us a beautiful lookout for photos and then joined us for coffee and cake before sending us off to explore. Later, with just a quick text, he was there to pick us up and bring us back to our hotel. We did several tours during our time in Croatia, and Aljosa was by far our most favorite guide. Highly recommend this group!!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this incredible review! 🌟 We’re delighted to hear how much you and your family enjoyed the Mostar & Kravice waterfalls tour with Aljoša. He truly has a gift for making every journey engaging, comfortable, and personal, and we’re so glad you felt like you were traveling with a friend. From sharing local stories to finding hidden spots and unique dining experiences, it means a lot to know those touches made your day so memorable. We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to Aljoša—he’ll be thrilled! Thank you for choosing us twice during your stay, and we hope to welcome you back for more adventures in the future. 💙 — DTTA Dubrovnik Transfer Travel Agency Best regards Hrvoje

Wow - amazing experience
We enjoyed this brilliant full day trip as part of our family and friends holiday to Dubrovnik and can thoroughly recommend it. Our guide Hrvoje (better known as Rocky) made it a day to remember - starting with the offer of a shot of the national Croatian drink Rakija to set us on our merry way. Rocky is so patriotic and knowledgeable about Croatia and the Balkans. The drive right along the stunning Adriatic coast from Dubrovnik into neighbouring Bosnia is just 'wow'. You can stop off at Mali Ston oyster bay just before the border to sample Croatia's renowned oysters. We made a pit stop just over the border in the Neum, a small Bosnian resort town. On arrival at Kravice Waterfalls we were blessed with the weather which allowed us to see them in all their awe-inspiring glory. As we had travelled on Easter Friday the on-site eateries weren't open for business. And it was the same for the boat trip which can take you closer to the Falls. Both could only add to the experience and you could easily spend a few hours here. From there, it's about a 40 minute drive to Mostar and the old town is stunning with so much history. The reconstructed Old Bridge - destroyed in 1993 during the Bosnian war - is the focal point. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops around and the bustling streets are great to walk around and soak up the atmosphere and grab lunch, a drink and ice cream. This is definitely a trip worth doing from Dubrovnik.
Response from the operator: Dear Gavin and family Thank you for your wonderful recommendation Hopefully we will meet again soon! Big hello to all!! Best regards Hrvoje Čuk

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Mostar and Kravice waterfalls day tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.
How much does Mostar and Kravice waterfalls day tour cost?
+
Prices start at $550 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mostar and Kravice waterfalls day tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.
Is Mostar and Kravice waterfalls day tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mostar and Kravice waterfalls day tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mostar and Kravice waterfalls day tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mostar and Kravice waterfalls day tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mostar and Kravice waterfalls day tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
