Wonderful Day Trip to Mostar and Kravica Falls

We visited Mostar and Kravica Falls from Dubrovnik on a small group tour today. Overall, it was a great experience and well organized. The communications with the company for pickup were clear and easy to follow. Our guide Mateo was knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Bosnia Herzegovina and provided his own insights to living there. However, his stories tended to be a bit rambling and his sense of humor didn’t always hit the mark with our group. He was friendly and efficient at navigating the border crossings. We had a very good local guide in Mostar who guided us through Old Town. She was very informative and gave us lots of good tips on how to get the most out of our time there. The Kravica Falls are beautiful, but be prepared for large crowds both around the falls and in the water if you choose to swim. Overall, it was a great experience and gave us a chance to experience new destinations.

    Not enough time at waterfalls

Had a really good day, the guide was excellent, in our opinion though there was nowhere near enough time at the waterfalls and too much at mostar. We knew we'd spend a long time on the coach but for us it would have been worth it had we not had so little time at the waterfalls which btw you have to pay on top of the initial fee. If I were to go again I think we'd probably hire a car and do it ourselves as the waterfalls was the main reason we went.

    Mostar and Kravice waterfalls

Long day . Too little time spent in Mostar. After the guide took us around the outside of the old town) didn’t show us anything in the old town). He suggested we eat in Mostar as there was not much choice at the waterfalls. After having lunch, there was no time for looking around and had to go back to the bus. The waterfalls were an horrible experience. Hundreds of people, lots of bars. Couldn’t see the waterfalls for all this. A horrible way to view what should be a natural feature. If we had the choice , wea would have just visited Mostar, spent longer there and avoided the waterfalls although. Because of all of this, we didn’t enjoy the day.

Full day tour of Mostar and Kravice Waterfalls

Great trip with knowledgeable tour guide Matt who explained the history and politics of Bosnia Herzegovina. Also made good choices on the boarder crossing to save time. In Mostar the local guide again explained the area and its religions present, and why Mostar had been awarded UNESCO world heritage site status. Afterward Mostar there was a chance to relax at the beautiful waterfalls. An excellent trip but it is a long day, but you pack a lot in.

Mostar and Kravice waterfalls full day tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.

How much does Mostar and Kravice waterfalls full day tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $68 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Mostar and Kravice waterfalls full day tour take?

    +

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.

Is Mostar and Kravice waterfalls full day tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 73 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Mostar and Kravice waterfalls full day tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Mostar and Kravice waterfalls full day tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Mostar and Kravice waterfalls full day tour?

    +

Around 26 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Mostar and Kravice waterfalls full day tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
