The BEST experience
I have taken many different tours in different parts of Morocco. I’ve been to Morocco three times and this is by far THE BEST experience I’ve had. We met Yusuf at the market and bought our veggies and chicken. Then we went to his home where his mother taught us how to cook being in the home of such a wonderful Moroccan family who is willing to open their doors to us and share their knowledge with fabulous, more than I could’ve ever hoped for. When we come back, we’re gonna take several cooking classes from them if you don’t do the cooking class you’re missing out.

The Best welcoming family
Wow! One of the best experiences I’ve ever had a Viator. We had a group of 5, met Yassir at the market, we shopped . We went a little overboard because we had 5 people. We went to his house and was welcomed by his family. His mother included us in the prep work. Learned local customs and few cool cooking tips!. Some people might think it would be a little awkward to be that close with the family, but is was not! Felt nothing but welcome. The kicker the food we made was fantastic!

It is one a kind experience where you will cook and eat at somebody’s house and experience as they live. It is charming, authentic and real. So be prepared to experience how local Moroccans live.

An authentic cultural experience.
This was a wonderful cooking class that finished with a delicious home cooked meal. It was also an authentic cultural experience. Yassir provided information and answers to our questions in good English and translated for his mother as she led us through the making of a tangine and kefta dish. It was a privilege to be invited into their home and to eat at their table.
