    Marrakech markets

As expected, no different to any other abroad market area really. Lovely trinkets and bits and bobs. Delicious fruit stalls and market shops. Pretty hot but not as busy as I anticipated it might be. The usual haggling and bartering to be done of course. I was a bit apprehensive about going after reading reviews it was just a McDonald's and Starbucks. Over westernised etc. But I didn't see one British shop in the market area, just stalls and sellers. Authentic, some are a little pushy and want to guide you around (for a price) we found being direct and just saying no thank you over ignoring them (no need to be rude after all) worked well and they didn't hassle us much. Worth a trip if you're in the area and want a souvenir.

Response from the operator: I am surprised by your feedback. I have never given a tour to somebody called Danis. You must have confused with someone else. It was definitely not me .Your review was wrongly posted .What are talking about "McDonalds and Starbucks .They don't exist in the souks of Marrakech. There is no British shop in the market of Marrakech. The tour is called the hidden sites of Marrakech and it is well described on viator platform. It is crazy to believe that this tour will include places -if they exist-like Mcdonald and Starbucks .I wonder why would you need a tour guide to visit these places !!!. Sorry if I say you may be kidding,or drunk a lot of wine .It is impossible what you say even in imagination. If i was you I would rate the tour you have talked about NULL No Stars .Anyway thank for your 4 stars 🤣🤣🤣😇😇🤔🤔🤔.I.read carefully your review. It was not a guided tour. As I understood from your writing you did it by yourself Therefore;you reviewed yourself and you must not have posted it on my page.

    Crowes Souk MARKET

One of the better Souks that sell tons of rugs, fruit & produce, souvenirs , clothes, and lots of locally made handicraft. Be careful of the pick pockets and always bargain.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much dear Richard for your your feedback and for sharing some your tips with the readers. It is a souk like every busy place where one has to be careful namely when it gets overcrowded. Thank you very much I really appreciate your good feedback. I love you and I wish you all the best. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

    Great introduction to Marrakech

Mr Azim was very friendly and talkative. He showed us the market from both sides, the tourist and the local, so the difference between cheap ‘made in China’ stuff and truly handmade artisan items. He answered all of our questions and took us to some workshops as well as a bakery, apothecary and another oven place where we got to try tea whilst listening to a man plan a 3-string instrument. Very interesting tour overall and much recommended.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much my dear princess Natalia.I have just sent an e-mail to your lovely mother Margaret to thank her for having given me that opportunity to meet you.It was a great time that i had spent with one the sweetest families I have ever met. Thank you so much. I love all of you and it is a priceless feeling. I am also grateful to you for your love and respect. Cheers 😀🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

    Wonderful experience

We had a great time in Marrakech last December, thanks to our guide Mr.Azim. He not only showed us the hidden attractions of the city, but also took us to very reliable and fairly priced shops in the Souk. The most applaudable quality of his service was that even after our return, he helped us track and receive a carpet we had shipped from Marrakech but which had mistakenly been sent to a wrong country. We thankfully received the carpet after 2 months, all due to his perseverance and untiring efforts. Thank you Mr.Azim, I'll definitely give your contact to my friends visiting Marrakech.

Response from the operator: "Salamo Alaikom " dear Anjalia and Bishun:There is no doubt that you are "the salt of the earth".I would like to thank your beautiful daughter Natasha not only for having selected me among many other tour-guides in Marrakech but for her trust as well. I hope that she had a wonderful wedding. I would like also to send my best wishes to your second daughter and Natasha's husband. I love your family. Kindly yours Mohamed Azim 😀💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Moroccan Cooking Class: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does Moroccan Cooking Class cost?

    +

Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Moroccan Cooking Class take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is Moroccan Cooking Class worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Moroccan Cooking Class?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Moroccan Cooking Class suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Moroccan Cooking Class?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Moroccan Cooking Class start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

    +

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marrakech: 1 Day Tour-Best of Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys, 3 Days Merzouga Desert Tour from Marrakech with Luxury Camp, Marrakech: Atlas Mountains, Ourika Valley, Waterfall + Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Moroccan Cooking Class?

    +

Included: Private transportation; Tea and coffee; and Dinner. Not included: Wine. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Moroccan Cooking Class include hotel pickup?

    +

Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 3 listed pickup locations in and around Marrakech. Be ready about 10 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Moroccan Cooking Class?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

Is Moroccan Cooking Class wheelchair or stroller accessible?

    +

The operator notes: Wheelchair accessible; and Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.

What happens to Moroccan Cooking Class if the weather is bad?

    +
