Our Lady of the Rocks
The legend has it that the island has been made over the centuries by local seamen who kept an ancient oath after finding the icon of Madonna and the Child on the rock in the sea on July 22, 1452. Upon returning from each successful voyage, they laid a rock in the Bay. Over time, the islet gradually emerged from the sea. The custom of throwing rocks into the sea is alive even nowadays. Every year on the sunset of July 22, an event called "Fašinada", when local residents take their boats and throw rocks, widening the surface of the island, takes place. Besides the church from the 17th century, there is also a museum of gifts which were mainly donated by sailors and captains who had lived through the storms, battles, and long time at the open sea.

Super tour in Kotor ❤️
Our tour of Kotor and Perast with Olena was absolutely wonderful. From the very beginning, she was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and traditions of Montenegro. She explained everything in such an engaging and easy-to-understand way, making every stop even more meaningful. She was also very attentive to our group, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying the experience. Thanks to Olena, we discovered not only the beauty of Kotor and Perast but also the fascinating stories behind these incredible places. Her passion for her work truly shines through. We highly recommend Olena to anyone visiting Montenegro. She made our day unforgettable, and we are so grateful to have had her as our guide. Thank you, Olena!

What a perfect day
Igor was simply the best. I asked for photos and landscapes and he delivered. He must have connections as he summoned a breeze cleared the traffic got an ugly boat to move and even found me the perfect take home piece of glass. Not so much a tour as a "please share the beauty of where i live" experience. You must visit Igor if you visit Kotor.

Montenegro - What a Wonderful Surprise!
Igor, our guide from 360 Monte was outstanding. He was very warm and friendly and accommodating to our group's goals for the tour. He was very knowledgable in the history of the area. Kotor and Perast were absolutely beautiful areas. It was well worth the excursion! I would definitely request Igor if I was touring again!

+
Around 68 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+

When is the best time to visit Kotor?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kotor?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
