    Foodie Tour

We had such an amazing experience on our food tour in Montego Bay! Our tour guide, DAS, was absolutely excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming, and so much fun to be around. From the very beginning, they made us feel comfortable and gave us a great experience of Jamaica beyond just the typical tourist spots. We got to try some delicious authentic Jamaican food while also learning about the culture, the local area, and the history behind some of the foods we were eating. Our guide really made the entire experience memorable and kept us laughing and engaged throughout the tour. You could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and takes pride in showing visitors the real Jamaica.

    10/10 Would do again

Dasayev was absolutely amazing! We just finished our foodie tour, and he made the entire experience so much better. He was incredibly personable, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome. He didn’t mind stopping at extra places along the way so we could take pictures, which we really appreciated! The tour itself was incredible! We got to try SO much authentic Jamaican food, and by the end we were absolutely stuffed but very happy! You can truly tell that Dasayev cares about making sure his guests have a great experience. I would 100% recommend Dasayev and his company to anyone visiting Jamaica. If you’re looking for a great tour with amazing food, good conversation, and someone who goes above and beyond, definitely book with him!

10/10 Solo Food Tour w/ Des!

10/10! I had an amazing time with Das on my food tour! I would recommend this tour to anyone I know coming to Jamaica! Das was on time, professional, kind & very welcoming! Come with your belly empty because you will absolutely leave STUFFED & with plenty leftovers! To anyone traveling solo, as I did, I felt completely safe & never uncomfortable at any moment. Das made sure I got nothing but the best & even made a pit stop to get me fresh fruit from the market. Das was very knowledgeable on the areas & knew the lay of the land very well. It felt like talking with an old friend the entire time of my tour. Book with Das, end of story! You will not be disappointed.

Amazing foodie tour in the Mo Bay Area of Jamaica

Das was awesome. The best part of the tour was his flexibility. He took us to a couple of off script places that we asked for. His knowledge of the food scene in the Mo Bay Area is second to none! We’d definitely take another foodie tour with him in the future!

Montego Bay Foodie Tour with City Highlights: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Runaway Bay.

How much does Montego Bay Foodie Tour with City Highlights cost?

    +

Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Runaway Bay usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Montego Bay Foodie Tour with City Highlights take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Runaway Bay is not rushed.

Is Montego Bay Foodie Tour with City Highlights worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 160 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Runaway Bay, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Montego Bay Foodie Tour with City Highlights?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Montego Bay Foodie Tour with City Highlights suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Montego Bay Foodie Tour with City Highlights?

    +

Around 56 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Runaway Bay can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Runaway Bay and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Montego Bay Foodie Tour with City Highlights start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Runaway Bay within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Runaway Bay?

    +

On Outty we rank every Runaway Bay experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jungle River Tubing and Beach Adventure with Transportation, Private Sightseeing Tour in and Around Ocho Rios, Blue Hole and Bamboo Rafting Ocho Rios. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Runaway Bay?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Runaway Bay?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
