About this experience
Your journey will include a new and animal-friendly experience with the elephants through living with them in a peaceful sanctuary. Safety and sanitization are our first priorities; thus, elephant riding and bathing activities are not offered here. We work with professional mahouts to take care of elephants and refrain from any forms of cruelty. Since you are in Thailand, we would like you to learn a little bit of Thai culture. The journey will take you to get an authentic experience of traditional Thai culture through activities like rubber tapping, making coconut milk, and Thai food cooking sessions. This unique and astonishing journey is only available here at Bukit Elephant Park.

Bukit Elephant Trip - Amazing!!
Fantastic morning feeding the elephants and walking with them. We took our 5-year old and the 1 1/2 hr experience was long enough and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Was lovely to see them in their own environment, no chains, no riding and no bathing personally was the right thing for us!! Puki was a great guide, really informative and engaged with the children which was lovely!! The elephant keepers were great and let you get within a safe distance of the elephants. Would absolutely recommend for those with younger children and wanting to chose the ethical option!

Perfect way to see the elephants
Great experience, ethical treatment of the rescued Elephnats. Perfect educational visit for our children too. Highly recommend. We had Siri as our guide and she was very good, answered all our questions and engaged with the children perfectly too. Thank you for a great morning.

Truly ethical elephant sanctuary.
Very professionally run elephant park. From the hotel pick up, to the welcome drink and cold hand towels, to the clean toilets - everything was spot on. But especially the guided tour of the park and the heartfelt story of each elephant told to us by our guide was the most rewarding and inspirational. These people truly love the elephants in their care. The park is in danger of being encroached by a tourist resort. They need support.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your incredibly kind and supportive review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed every detail of your visit, from the moment you were picked up to the care we put into our facilities. It warms our hearts to know that the stories of our elephants were the highlight of your tour. Our team is deeply dedicated to them, and your recognition of that bond is truly the greatest reward for our staff. We also want to express our sincere gratitude for highlighting the challenges we are currently facing. Your support and advocacy mean more to us than words can say, especially as we continue to stand our ground to protect our elephants' home. Thank you for choosing us, for appreciating our mission, and for helping us spread the word. We truly hope to welcome you back again soon. 🐘💖🌿

Let Elephants Be Elephants – Unforgettable Elephant Experience
This experience at the elephant sanctuary was absolutely amazing and unforgettable. We got to learn about each elephant’s life story and unique personality up close. It was such a wonderful joy to watch them enjoy their meals and bathe leisurely in a natural environment. What I appreciated most is that the sanctuary fully respects the elephants’ personal space and natural behavior. There are no forced performances, and everything is done with love and care for these gentle giants. It has been a meaningful and wonderful journey. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends!

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Mini Elephant Nature at Bukit Elephant Park: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phuket.
How much does Mini Elephant Nature at Bukit Elephant Park cost?
+
Prices start at $700 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phuket usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mini Elephant Nature at Bukit Elephant Park take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phuket is not rushed.
Is Mini Elephant Nature at Bukit Elephant Park worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 55 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Phuket, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mini Elephant Nature at Bukit Elephant Park?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mini Elephant Nature at Bukit Elephant Park suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mini Elephant Nature at Bukit Elephant Park?
+
Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phuket can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phuket and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mini Elephant Nature at Bukit Elephant Park start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phuket within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Phuket?
+
On Outty we rank every Phuket experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Southern Flavors Phuket Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, James Bond Island by Big Boat w/ Sea Cave Canoeing and Lunch, Phang Nga Bay Canoeing & James Bond Island Tour from Phuket. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Phuket?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Phuket?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
