Private wine tasting
Roberto was an excellent guide who shared the history of the buildings and area as we strolled around Milan. We went to lovely bars & restaurants where the locals visit and had some wine & Campari spritz. Highly recommend this tour

5 stars for Roberto
This was our first time in Milan and the first experience we booked. Roberto was absolutely fantastic and we loved every minute with him. He gave us a brief history of Milan prior to starting the food tour which was really nice as we didn’t know very much about the city at all. I would highly recommend any tour with Roberto! We adored him!
Response from the operator: Dear Amanda and Todd it was a gift to meet you ! You are great travellers I hope to meet you again Thank you Love

Feedback on Our Recent Food and Wine Tour
Greetings, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to provide feedback on the food and wine tour we attended yesterday, as it did not meet our expectations. As regular participants in food and wine tours, my group and I were disappointed with this experience. We were surprised to find that we only had three spritzers to share among us, while I received only one glass of house red wine, and my friend had one glass of wine that was merely acceptable. When we booked this tour, we anticipated a variety of wine and local food tastings. While we did enjoy some tasty sandwiches, we did not sample the range of wines we were looking forward to. I had to request additional wine, as it was not included in the tour. Roberto informed us that he couldn't purchase more wine after providing the three spritzers for the three of us to share, which felt misleading given the tour's wine-focused premise. Although we found Roberto to be friendly and accommodating, we believe the overall experience did not justify the cost we paid. Unfortunately, this tour did not align with our expectations for a wine tour. Thank you for considering our feedback. We hope to see improvements in the future. Best regards,
Response from the operator: I am so sorry that you are disapponted, I led you to a different area The Navigli, that is not included in the tour, I was more time at your disposal that was not included in the tour. I feel really sorry that you did not read the presentation, it was complicated in Italy to offer you red sweet wine, as in the presentation we do not have sweet wine, despite that I stopped in another place to try to make happy. I am sorry, normally other guests are very happy about the tour. It was also included cocktails that are more expensive to compare to the wine, you asked to sweet wine and despite it was not on the program i tried to make you happy to find a place where they serve sweet wine, You told me that the evening before you drunk duriung a meal a "porto" wine that's a sweet wine from Portugal, I think you expectaion is to find what you like, I am so sorry not to make you happy. My improuvement will be tour not suitable for guests who like sweet wine. Thank you

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Milan private art food and wine tasting tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Milan.
How much does Milan private art food and wine tasting tour cost?
+
Prices start at $130 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Milan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Milan private art food and wine tasting tour take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Milan is not rushed.
Is Milan private art food and wine tasting tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 33 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Milan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Milan private art food and wine tasting tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Milan private art food and wine tasting tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Milan private art food and wine tasting tour?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Milan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Milan and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Milan private art food and wine tasting tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Milan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Milan?
+
On Outty we rank every Milan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gnocchi, Pasta, Tiramisù and Wine Class, Authentic Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Milan, Milan's Hidden Gems: Unique Bike Tour (ENG, NL). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Milan?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Milan?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
