What you get

    About this experience

Hosted in a real chef’s home — not a commercial cooking school. This experience is designed to feel personal, not staged. You won’t be in a classroom with individual stations, but in a real home where everything happens together, just like in Italy. I’m a trained chef with experience in professional kitchens, and the focus here is not just following recipes, but understanding technique — so you can actually recreate what you learn. We work with carefully selected ingredients, avoid shortcuts, and keep the group small to ensure everyone is involved. It’s a balance between professional cooking and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere — more like cooking with a friend who knows exactly what he’s doing.

    Nice and cozy experience....

Nice and cozy experience. It was like being invited to a friends home for dinner. If you come do not come hungry like us because the chef does speak about the origin and history of food/Italian products for about 30-45 minutes before any cooking starts and by the time the meal is ready it’s about 3 hours later. He did give some bread so you can sample excellent olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Overall great experience for a first time cooking experience and Rafael made fun and lively. Would recommend.

More than a cooking class, a great experience

I spent - with my son of 22 - a wonderful night in Milan. We enjoyed, with other very nice people, Raffaele's huge culinary culture, tasting special bread with olive oil and balsamico, enjoying the explanation about the trackability of (italian) products, and most of all enjoying the cooking a lot and savoring the dishes. The setting, the people of the group, the ingredients, the cooking class and the wonderful diner were all great and we really had a great night. Thanks Raffaele for sharing your amazing savoir-faire and joy for food

    Surprise Birthday Experience

I booked this cooking class as a birthday present for my boyfriend while we were visiting Italy for his 28th birthday, he learned what we were doing 5 minutes before the class started and thoroughly enjoyed himself. I was looking for an intimate hand-on authentic Italian cooking class, and I found it with Rafael! The class ended up being myself, my boyfriend and one other person which made the class very personal. We started the class with some wine and learning the importance of quality and production of ingredients, Rafael brought out fresh bread, olive oil, and balsamic vinaigrette before we started prepping the tiramisu and pasta. The class was 3 hours and felt like the entire day but also not long at all. Both my boyfriend and I would highly recommend this experience!

    10/10 - Top tier experience

10/10 experience! Wonderful, friendly, funny and very interactive Host/Chef! Did this as a surprise birthday gift, one that I will remember forever, great time, great food, great guy! Knowledge of food/music/history was top tier - Not just a cooking experience, it’s a whole new level! Thank you Rafael for a great time! I hope you keep spreading joy and knowledge and cooking some great foods! Big Love 🫶🏼

    A great experience

I really enjoyed the cooking class. Chef Rafael was engaging and made us all feel at home. I learned to make pasta and have never done so before. It was a really great experience and I definitely would recommend to anyone.

Milan: Pasta Tiramisu Cooking Class in a Chef’s Home(Small Group): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Milan.

How much does Milan: Pasta Tiramisu Cooking Class in a Chef’s Home(Small Group) cost?

    +

Prices start at $91 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Milan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Milan: Pasta Tiramisu Cooking Class in a Chef’s Home(Small Group) take?

    +

Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Milan is not rushed.

Is Milan: Pasta Tiramisu Cooking Class in a Chef’s Home(Small Group) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 88 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 172 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Milan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Milan: Pasta Tiramisu Cooking Class in a Chef’s Home(Small Group)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Milan: Pasta Tiramisu Cooking Class in a Chef’s Home(Small Group) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Milan: Pasta Tiramisu Cooking Class in a Chef’s Home(Small Group)?

    +

Around 60 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Milan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Milan and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Milan: Pasta Tiramisu Cooking Class in a Chef’s Home(Small Group) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Milan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Milan?

    +

On Outty we rank every Milan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gnocchi, Pasta, Tiramisù and Wine Class, Milan: Pasta and Tiramisu Small Group Cooking Class with Wine, Milan's Hidden Gems: Unique Bike Tour (ENG, NL). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Milan?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Milan?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
