    The Genius

Daniel was our guide and he was clearly very passionate about every location we visited: the Last Supper Museum, various parts of the city, Duomo Cathedral. It was a phenomenal experience and would highly recommend. I very much appreciated his insights and decomposing and diving deep into the background of everywhere we were visiting and seeing. Of all the spots, the Last Supper Museum and learning about Da Vinci (the Genius) were my favorite part of the tour. Truly remarkable. The one surprise is that there is a fair amount of walking between locations. I might have skipped reading that description when I signed up, but there was one party that had to take the train because they couldn't walk the 45min-1hr. However, that walking through the city was well worth it as Daniel shared lots of city history. He also made sure we were hydrated and took breaks.

Milan Highlights walking tour - must do!

Excellent tour with our guide John Luca. We met outside the advertised location and we're swiftly set up with listening devices and on our way to view The Last Supper which was very special. Thereafter a lovely walking tour took in several beautiful sites and John Luca explained history and culture with enthusiasm. He was always happy to answer questions and took his time, it did not feel rushed in anyway.

Great experience with the tour guide

The tour was great! Our guide kept us in the shad as much as possible in August. We were running a few minutes behind but were able to catch the group before it was too late. Getting to walk to the front of the lines was great and this was the only option for us to see the last supper.

Response from the operator: Hi Bspin23, thank you so much! We are thrilled you had a great experience taking in Milan's highlights and seeing the Last Supper without the long lines. So glad your guide kept everyone cool in the August shade, too! We’d love to welcome you on another adventure soon.

Last Supper, Duomo and City Tour of Milan

The guide was very knowledgeable and her insights at the Last Supper, Duomo and the city tour were invaluable. The guide regularly checked our group and took our safety seriously, particularly with the city traffic. I would highlight recommend this tour. The only drawback is that it is not cheap.

Response from the operator: Hi Paul, thank you so much! We are thrilled your guide’s safety check-ins and deep insights at the Last Supper and Duomo made such an impression. Investing in top-tier guides to navigate Milan's iconic sights seamlessly is what we strive for. We’d love to explore with you again on your next trip!

How much does Milan Highlights: Guided Duomo, Last Supper & City Centre Tour cost?

    +

Is Milan Highlights: Guided Duomo, Last Supper & City Centre Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 175 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Milan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Milan Highlights: Guided Duomo, Last Supper & City Centre Tour?

    +

Around 61 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Milan and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Milan?

    +

On Outty we rank every Milan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gnocchi, Pasta, Tiramisù and Wine Class, Authentic Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Milan, Milan's Hidden Gems: Unique Bike Tour (ENG, NL). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Milan?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Milan?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
