You can enjoy an amazing view of Milan by yourself from these incredible rooftops, surrounded by hundreds of statues. You will explore this area by yourself. (if you have choosen the rooftops option). No skip the line access for this area. The elevator has a maximum capacity of 7 persons, so you might have to wait few minutes before heading up to the roof (the lift is always guaranteed, however). Kindly consider that after the elevator, there are around 50 stairs in order to reach the top of the Cathedral, and back down at the end of the tour.

Terrible tour
Awful! Did not have tickets for elevator to Duomo and did not inform guests until half way through tour. Hour late start. Do not go.

Be warned before booking this tour. Below are the facts of our experience. You can draw your own conclusions. 1. Vacation time is invaluable. When you travel to a foreign country, you have a limited amount of time and many activities you want to experience 2. SCAM definition: a dishonest or illegal plan designed to trick people and steal their money or personal information (from Google - Merriam-Webster) 3. We booked via TripAdvisor: Milan Duomo: Guided tour with Rooftop entry by elevator 4. We arrived on time to our meeting point and registered with the hostess. 5. She had plenty of time to communicate us any relevant information about our tour 6. We enter the Cathedral with the guide, after the visit, he gave us instructions what elevator to take and how to get to it 7. We went to the very long queue in the sun 8. After a while, a nice lady came to check our tickets 9. She informed us that our tickets were not valid for rooftop access. The ticket provided by the hostess only allowed entry to the cathedral. 10. I called the hostess asking for my ticket 11. The hostess, as bold as brass, tried to apologize and explained they had a “technical” issue 12. We never received valid rooftop tickets and left Milan without visiting the rooftop or enjoying the view we had paid for A few questions: a) Was the operator plan dishonest or illegal? b) Was its plan (false advertising) designed to trick people? c) And steal their money or personal information? d) Did TripAdvisor collect a fee from this booking? e) Is TripAdvisor aware of how this operator handles tours? f) If so, why is this operator still permitted to sell services through the platform?

total rip off don’t bother booking with this company
paid for access to roof top, they said the entire time they couldn’t get the tickets from the office. Arrived at 11 am, then was told to go off on our own do the museum, then come back at 12 they will give us rooftop tickets. still didn’t, most of the tour groups headsets didn’t work, by the time we qued to get into the duomo and figure out everyone’s headsets it was gone 12:15 or so, gave up on the headsets as they were so muffled. Btw the tickets for this was €10. i paid £120 x 2 people for this tour. for which i didn’t get the promised rooftop entry / tour. the actual tour itself was ok when i could hear but it wasn’t 50 minutes and didn’t find it that informative but the guy was nice and felt bad for the headsets. but didn’t really learn much or show us much of the duomo which is understandable given the time. by the time we wrapped up at 12:50 we were told we can seee the rest ourselves or go to the rooftop so we tried to go and were told we don’t have the right tickets. Met the original host again and said and that’s when 2 hours later he said oh sorry you’ll get a partial refund we don’t have access they won’t give us your tickets. so frustrating after booking a tour so long ago and now a weekend not being able to then see the rooftop was super disappointing and leaving it until the last minute to tell us, it was just very unorganised and chaotic. i’ve done many tours all over europe and this was the least informative and worst value for money. i don’t understand the price even with rooftop lift access why i paid so much for such a terrible refund. not happy at all and super disappointed. had i of known i would of booked a better company or tour so now leaving milan are booking months ago without seeing the duomo rooftop!
