3 hour buggy tour, great excursion!
Yesterday we went on the 3 hour guided tour as a family of 4 with kids aged 10 and 14. Absolutely brilliant service, friendly informative and very welcoming staff all round. We had Alex and Frederiko take us out, and they were brilliant. There are many different tour operators but these guys are the best, and brilliant with the kids. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! Wonderful to hear you had a great time with us! We hope to welcome you again in the future! Greetings Team Bigfoot 🐾

Rude disrespectful tour guide
Where to start? We booked 3hours tour we only got 2 and half hours tour I had a pleasant start as soon as we left the facility the tour guide asked me to keep close distance i explained to him that the buggy doesn’t go faster than 25 and I asked him to try himself he stated he will do so once we stop! He got annoyed that we were a bit distant from him his quad is faster than our buggy! Yet we still tried to keep up with him! On the way back he went faster on the unpacked road which caused a lot of dust to obstruct our vision We weren’t able to see ahead of us with the amount of dust created by his quad not to mention there are sharp turns if we speed we might jump of the mountain cliff to be cautious we slowed down to avoid accidents He drove off we weren’t able to see which direction he went we my buggy and another family’s buggy that were behind us had to stop for a minute to figure out which way he went! Mind you i had to check on that family constantly because they were really behind and i was concerned about them getting lost or facing issues which is his responsibility not mine He noticed we weren’t behind him he came back looking for us when he found us he started yelling and screaming at us!!! Who the hell does he think he is??? We didn’t spend money to be yelled at by some nobody. And it didn’t stop there he started talking rubbish about us to the people in 3rd buggy which unprofessional and disrespectful. Once I got back I asked to speak with him about his unprofessionalism They tell you they’re not responsible if something happens to you but they yell at you for taking precautions!!! If I jumped off the cliff was he gonna collect my body and explain to my family what happened??? This is absurd He knows the road like the back of his hands we don’t. And the audacity to disrespect us is unacceptable He ruined our experience cause me unnecessary stress left me shaking that I had a hemorrhage when I got to my hotel. He is lucky I have other engagements otherwise I would take a legal action against him and the company. You don’t treat customers in such a manner I didn’t spend $260 to be disrespected by a worker. The company should hold its employees accountable for such gross behavior
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to write your long review of the circumstances of your tour as you experienced it. Because safety is our number one priority at Bigfoot Buggy Tours, we would like to share with you the circumstances of your tour as we experienced it (and as is corroborated by video footage and customer comments to us who were on the tour). As our video footage shows, you were the first buggy in line to go out on the tour. From the very beginning, you were instructed by the tour guide to not keep as much distance from him as it could result in an issue of safety, especially for the buggies behind you - He asked you very politely more than once to move closer to him. In a very not nice manner you complained about the dust on the tour - as we tell all our customers at the outset, the mountain trails do in fact get very dirty and dusty (our website even provides pictures of such as do previous reviews from other clients). We provide bandanas and goggles free of charge, (you can also buy new bandanas) so that the dust does not get into your eyes or into your ears and mouth. You REFUSED to use them saying ´they did not smell good and that they could have been used by others´ Our goggles and bandanas are cleaned, washed, and sanitized after each tour. So, because you REFUSED to wear the bandana and goggles, you were put off by all the dust on the trail and reduced your speed to the point where it not only slowed everyone else on the tour down, but also resulted in jeopardizing everyone else´s ability to enjoy a full tour due to time constraints, AND jeopardized THEIR safety as they were riding behind you. You were asked numerous times to not drive such a long distance away from the guide but did NOT listen. As a result, yes, he had to turn around to find you and was completely justified in being upset, not just because YOU fell behind but because YOU jeopardized everyone else´s safety. We know that one of the buggies in the tour ended up overtaking you because of the low speed you were traveling and, as they reported to us, felt unsafe being behind you. I should note this customer took the time to write us a thank you note for the tour and let us know how much they enjoyed it. They also made it a point to tell us how difficult you were from the very beginning - late to the tour, your partner was told where to park his motorcycle but refused to listen and instead weaved through the buggies to park in a spot where he was told not to park, and then ofcourse your behavior on the tour. I further understand at the stop at the watering hole your partner was told not to enter in a spot where the rocks are slippery but refused that direction as well. Your verbal assault of our guide continued upon your return to Bigfoot (again, all on video and audio). As the video shows, your guide remained calm and professional yet you continued your rant making our other guests feel uncomfortable. At the end of the day, we will always put the safety of our clients first. The NUMEROUS five star reviews and positive comments about Federico on Google, here and on our website speak for themselves. While we are sorry you weren't prepared for a buggy tour, we hope you find an activity that is more suited to you. Greetings Team Bigfoot 🐾

Big Foot Buggy Rides review.
I have been on several UTV tours and this one was awesome. Now it helped that we were traveling through some of the most breathtaking views of the Spanish mountain sides and the views of the Mediterranean Sea were outstanding.
Response from the operator: Thank you Michael for your compliment! Wonderful to hear that you had a great time with us! Hope you will come back and will do the other route. Greetings Team Bigfoot

Why this scores 70

Mijas Mountains Buggy Tour Costa del Sol: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Malaga.
How much does Mijas Mountains Buggy Tour Costa del Sol cost?
+
Prices start at $141 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Malaga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mijas Mountains Buggy Tour Costa del Sol take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Malaga is not rushed.
Is Mijas Mountains Buggy Tour Costa del Sol worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 83 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Malaga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mijas Mountains Buggy Tour Costa del Sol?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mijas Mountains Buggy Tour Costa del Sol suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mijas Mountains Buggy Tour Costa del Sol?
+
Around 29 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Malaga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Malaga and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mijas Mountains Buggy Tour Costa del Sol start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Malaga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Malaga?
+
On Outty we rank every Malaga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Malaga City Tour 2 Hours Monumental Segway Tour, Taste of Malaga Tour : Tapas, History and Local Customs, Go local for a day!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Malaga?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Malaga?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
