Surprising highlight of trip to Cabo
We had a family of six adults take the tour with Tony who we highly recommend as a guide. Didn’t really know what to expect going into it but surprisingly was one of the best parts of our trip to Cabo. Tony is smart, friendly and professional- focused on safety while pushing you to get the max out of the trip. Great combo of beach and desert ATV experience!

SCAM
This place is a scam! I spent $200 on upgrades just for our guide to go 10 mph the entire time. Last year I was down here and booked through real Baha and it was way better
Response from the operator: Hi, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re sorry to hear that your tour did not meet your expectations. Our tours are fully guided, and our guides always prioritize the safety of all guests. We also offer private tours for those seeking a more personalized experience, where the pace and stops can be customized. If this was your case, we would appreciate the opportunity to look into what happened and provide a fair follow-up. Please share your reservation name, reservation number, and date of your visit by emailing support@gforcetours.com. Kind regards.

Price and fees were not transparent. Total tourist trap.
Our group of 6 was extremely disappointed by our experience on this excursion. When booking my this tour, we found the prices to be a little on the higher side, but decided to bite the bullet because of the glowing reviews on Viator and that the schedule lined up with our time in Cabo. We came from a cruise ship, which required us to return to the dock at a specific time to tender (boat shuttle) back to the boat. When booking the tour, I messaged back and forth with the tour operator, who was very helpful, kind, and responsive. They assured me that if we opted for the “private tour” for $35 extra per person, we would be able to be back to the docks in plenty of time. When we arrived at the pickup location, the van was branded with a different company name than the tour company on the booking description (our information said “G-Force Tours”, but the van was branded “Cactus tours”. This was not a huge issue, but was a little confusing to our group. When we arrived at the main location, there was a long line to “check in” (about 20 minutes of the precious time we had there). At the check in counter, the woman informed us that in addition to the $120 per person base, $25 ‘park entrance fee’, and $35 private tour fee, there was an additional $35 fee for ‘vehicle insurance’. When we tried to decline the insurance, they let us know that we would receive an $800 charge on our credit card, which could be refunded in 7-10 business days IF the vehicles came back without a scratch. They totally spooked us into paying with tactics like “most guests pay for the insurance for peace of mind and “a minor accident could easily be more than $800, and the $35 each is a small price to pay.” We folded and bought the insurance, which put a horrible taste in our mouths, and brought our grand total after the processing fee to $1,308 ($218/person). The tour overall was fine. The description online described it “as a guided ATV tour with a private guide who is an expert on the area, implying that we would learn about the area and ecosystem. In reality, we just followed the guide in a straight line with sand and shrubbery that didn’t seem like anything interesting or special. At one point, one of the members of our group veered out of the line on an area of open beach to get some speed. The guide stopped everyone and explained that we had to keep in a line since we didn’t know the area (we wouldn’t have vetted out on any of the trails we were on, but it seemed silly that we needed to stay in a straight line on the open beach). At one point when we stop for a break, we asked the guide to take a picture of our group with our phones (which we were allowed to bring on the private tour), but he refused to take a picture of our group for fear of management retribution. When we returned to the main area, we tried the free tequila tasting, which was fine, but nothing to write home about. Food was supposed to be included with our tour, but we did not have time because we needed to leave to get back to our cruise ship. The tour staff was not very accommodating about getting us back to the docks quickly, and we were kind of sweating it at the end. Overall, I would not recommend this tour. We felt lied to by the description online, and spent way more than we were expecting for a subpar experience. The location felt like a total tourist trap, and that they wanted to squeeze us for all our money, and didn’t care whether or not we enjoyed the experience.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We truly appreciate it, as it helps us better understand how to improve every part of our service. We’re very sorry that your experience did not fully meet your expectations. To clarify, G Force Adventures and Cactus Tours belong to the same company group, which is why transportation or logistics may sometimes take place in vehicles showing either brand name. All official prices and optional services including park entrance fees, insurance, and private tour upgrades are published transparently on our official websites. The vehicle insurance is an optional protection designed to cover possible damage during the tour; if declined, a refundable hold is placed temporarily as a guarantee, which is standard practice for all motorized tours in Los Cabos. Regarding your comments about photography, our guides are not allowed to use guests’ personal phones for safety and privacy reasons. This policy ensures that guides can stay fully focused on group safety throughout the tour. We’re also taking a closer look at your comments about communication, timing, and the overall flow of the tour especially for cruise ship guests who have limited time to return to port. Your feedback has been shared with our operations team to strengthen our coordination and ensure a smoother experience for future visitors. We would truly like to review your case personally and offer you a fair resolution. Please contact us directly at support@gforcetours.com , so we can follow up on your situation in detail and ensure your next visit is the experience you expected and deserve.

Excellent ATV experience
Great ATV experience! I was not looking forward to the long drive, but luckily we were the last pickup on the way and the first drop off coming back. It was about 30 minutes in an airconditioned van from our hotel just passed the Medano Beach area. They are very organized with their transportation, it was easy to get a shuttle back after our ATV/lunch/tequila tasting experience was over. The property is perfect for ATVs. We spent about 30 mins riding up and down the beach on open sand along the waves and on trails. We took a quick 15 mi break then boarded the ATVs for the inland ride up a dry river bed. Great trails. There are goats with shepherding dogs. We opted for the private tour (3 of us) so that we could go at our own pace and bring our phones for pictures. So fun!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 💚 We’re delighted to know you enjoyed your ATV adventure from the beach views to the desert trails, it sounds like you made the most of the experience. Our team works hard to make every step from transportation to the ride itself smooth, comfortable, and fun for our guests. We hope to see you again soon for another unforgettable adventure in Los Cabos!

So much fun!
The ATV was WILD :-) and so much fun! Get ready for the dusty off road! And NO speed limit! (Just kidding, but it was much much faster than any ATV you can get in the US). The tour guide was very friendly. The photographer was very professional and took some amazing photos along the route. BTW, it is kids friendly. They can ride with you.

Why this scores 89
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Migriño Beach & Dunes off-road Tour ATV: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cabo San Lucas.
How much does Migriño Beach & Dunes off-road Tour ATV cost?
+
Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cabo San Lucas usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Migriño Beach & Dunes off-road Tour ATV take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cabo San Lucas is not rushed.
Is Migriño Beach & Dunes off-road Tour ATV worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 89 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 719 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cabo San Lucas, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Migriño Beach & Dunes off-road Tour ATV?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Migriño Beach & Dunes off-road Tour ATV suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Migriño Beach & Dunes off-road Tour ATV?
+
Around 252 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cabo San Lucas can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cabo San Lucas and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Migriño Beach & Dunes off-road Tour ATV start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cabo San Lucas within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cabo San Lucas?
+
On Outty we rank every Cabo San Lucas experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cabo Desert Off-Road & Beach Horseback Combo and Tequila Tasting, Humpback Whale Watching Tour in Cabo San Lucas, Cabo All-Inclusive Private Beach Club with Open Bar and Buffet. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cabo San Lucas?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cabo San Lucas?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
