These are the go-to people for visiting the Artic circle - fantastic guide and have been doing these tours for years. Enjoyed the entire tour in particular touching permafrost. It was longer than expected, though if had to do over still have chosen the tour - fantastic memories.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the recommendation. We are so glad you enjoyed it and glad we could be a part of your Alaska journey. Best regards!

Great experience!
This was a great tour. It's a long day, but our driver made it very interesting and informative. We were able to stop and photograph different wildlife that we saw during the drive, and there were some different stops for information, walking, and using the bathroom.
Response from the operator: Thank you for joining us on the Midnight Sun Arctic Circle Drive Adventure. So glad you had a good experience and hope the rest of your travels were just as good.

Would highly recommend!
Great experience! Enjoyed the trip and engagement with our guide Caelen. Frequent stops gave us a chance to stretch our legs and experience Alaska wilderness up close. Would not recommend for anyone with back issues as the road is unpaved and bumpy.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your recommendation. We appreciate you taking the time to share with others your experience. Thank you.

Arctic Circle road tour
This trip was definitely worth the time it took to reach the sign Arctic Circle. The scenery there and back was beautiful. We saw Moose, porcupines, ravens, eagles and more. Our driver Caelum was amazing. He was an encyclopedia of knowledge not only about the surroundings, but drove the challenging road with ease because of his experience on it. He had a great personality and made out trip delightful.
Response from the operator: Thank you for helping answer the often asked question -- is it worth it? It is a full day and we are so glad you enjoyed your time out with us. Thank you!

Midnight Sun Arctic Circle Drive Adventure: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fairbanks.
How much does Midnight Sun Arctic Circle Drive Adventure cost?
+
Prices start at $249 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fairbanks usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Midnight Sun Arctic Circle Drive Adventure take?
+
Plan for about 16 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fairbanks is not rushed.
Is Midnight Sun Arctic Circle Drive Adventure worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 38 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable nightlife in Fairbanks, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Midnight Sun Arctic Circle Drive Adventure?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Midnight Sun Arctic Circle Drive Adventure suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 16-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Midnight Sun Arctic Circle Drive Adventure?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fairbanks can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fairbanks and add a light layer if any part of the 16-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Midnight Sun Arctic Circle Drive Adventure start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fairbanks within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Fairbanks?
+
Fairbanks is the aurora capital of interior Alaska: heated viewing lodges, late-night chase tours, Arctic Circle day drives up the Dalton Highway, dog sledding and summer riverboat cruises. On Outty we rank every Fairbanks experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Northern Lights - Aurora with FREE Photos - Arctic Night Tours, Dog Sledding and Mushing Experience in North Pole, Fairbanks Ice Fishing Expedition in a Heated Cabin with Fish Cookout. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fairbanks?
+
Late August to April for aurora, June to August for midnight-sun river trips. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fairbanks?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Midnight Sun Arctic Circle Drive Adventure?
+
Included: Driver/guide; and Live commentary on board. Not included: Food and drinks; Gratuities; and Hotel pickup and drop-off. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

+
