Had a great time visiting...
Had a great time visiting the Delta. The highlights were boating around the little inlets of the river to see how the locals lived and riding around the streets before having a delicious lunch. A must do from Ho Chi Minh

Mostly disappointing.
A long and bumpy two hour drive to get to the Mekong Delta and the Floating Market (and back again!) Was hoping to see more of the Delta and the floating market was pretty much non-existent! Only a few boats left doing nothing! At least our guide explained why but still very disappointing. Only saved by the cooking class and the food after! That was better!

mass tourism
it was not a hit. no floating market seen. dangerous landing stages only short stipvisite on a market mass tourism good lunch the guide was friendly. more than an hour waiting for the pick-up service in the hotel. that was really terrible! I would never book this tour again.

Amazing and informative tour
Our tour guide Dana was amazing! With her extensive knowledge and sense of humor she made this tour even better than we imagined. While the floating markets are dwindling, the rest of the tour makes up for it. Drink the snake wine. It’s delicious.

Journey to Mekong delta
Very nature filled area. They bring you to a garden to see different types of plants. Then they brought us to a place where they thought us how make rice paper. Then they brought us to eat lunch. The lunch we had was fish, pork, and wraps. After which they brought us to a bee breeding area where they sold us honey etc. Then they brought us to an area where they made coconut sweets. The coconuts there is a must try, as they were naturally really sweet when compared to other coconuts. Then they showed us how to make the sweets. There was also a horse ride on the way to the the row boat ride. Then we stopped for a quick break we here we bought drinks such as sugar cane juice. We had a good nature sight seeing during the row boat. Then we headed back to the boat to get to the bus back to ho chin ming city which was a two hour long journey . We went to this location via TheSinhTourist agency at the price of 219k Vietnam dong per person.

Mekong Delta Trip To Cai Be OR Cai Rang Floating Market | HCMC: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ho Chi Minh City.
How much does Mekong Delta Trip To Cai Be OR Cai Rang Floating Market | HCMC cost?
+
Prices start at $42 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ho Chi Minh City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mekong Delta Trip To Cai Be OR Cai Rang Floating Market | HCMC take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ho Chi Minh City is not rushed.
Is Mekong Delta Trip To Cai Be OR Cai Rang Floating Market | HCMC worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 73 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ho Chi Minh City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mekong Delta Trip To Cai Be OR Cai Rang Floating Market | HCMC?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mekong Delta Trip To Cai Be OR Cai Rang Floating Market | HCMC suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mekong Delta Trip To Cai Be OR Cai Rang Floating Market | HCMC?
+
Around 26 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ho Chi Minh City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mekong Delta Trip To Cai Be OR Cai Rang Floating Market | HCMC start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ho Chi Minh City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ho Chi Minh City?
+
On Outty we rank every Ho Chi Minh City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Tour From HCM, Cu Chi Tunnels Small-Group Tour: Vietnam War Underground Network, Cu Chi underground tour - Learn Vietnam war with others. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ho Chi Minh City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ho Chi Minh City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
