Fraudsters
We purchased the package 3days plus two nights from phon pen to ho chi Min on the delta of Mekong .. after hours spent on the river up to Chau doc early in the morning there awaited the experienced English-speaking guide who did not speak English and minimum will have been 79 years old he and the taxi driver ditto .. we begin the tour we had to do 2 tours the first fact and after hours of driving we realize that we were not headed to the second tour but directed to can tho .. they had forgotten about it as the meals that to tell them were included but there is not and have not been .. We send various messages to the organizer but the only thing able to do was apologize the guide slept all the way and his taxi driver friend to make us do a nice front. I requested half the refund that I was not given we had to have lunches that were not included in fact in the hotel was confirmed and we had to have a minivan instead was a hospice .. this morning I have an excursion on the river and then Ho ci Min 400 km. with the two aged then I will tell you... all at the modest figure of 760 I was ... with 2 days ruined and without the slightest refund. for the modest amount of 780 euros... terrible scam

4 days cycling in the Mekong delta with an amazing guide
I cycled in the Mekong delta for four days with the best guide ever. The different sceneries, the food, the local life, the stunning views - the whole experience was just perfect. The hotels that were included were very good and comfortable. For everyone who wants to experience the Mekong delta in a unique way I really recommend this trip. When booking, ask for Phuc, who is an amazing guide and gives you a great experience.

Fun and best local tour in Mekong
I'm delighted to hear that you had a wonderful time on the tour! It's fantastic that your tour guide, Canh, was both knowledgeable and humorous, adding to the overall positive experience. It's also heartening to know that the tour supports local families in the Mekong without causing any negative impact. Riding bikes through the village and receiving friendly waves from the locals sounds like a beautiful and immersive experience. The combination of breathtaking sights, fresh food, and a good time overall makes for a memorable adventure.

Amazing cruise on the Mekong!
Our guide, Huy, was a Vietnamese gentleman fluent in English, exuding openness and warmth. It was an intimate experience with just the two of us, accompanied by Huy and the boat driver on a small river boat—a far more personalized and immersive choice compared to a larger vessel. Contrary to our expectations, the floating markets were modest in size, primarily offering a variety of fruits and vegetables. Navigating through the array of vendors, we hopped onto a pineapple boat for a taste of fresh pineapple and purchased a watermelon. Venturing into a narrow canal, we visited a small family-run operation witnessing the meticulous handcrafting of rice paper, even trying our hand at it. Afterward, we enjoyed local cuisine nearby and strolled along a path, engaging in conversations with our guide about the diverse array of fruits and plants. This exceptional tour was expertly guided by Huy, adding a personalized touch that made the experience truly memorable.

The tour guide was excellent
The tour guide was excellent, with clear and humorous English, making him both entertaining and helpful throughout the trip. The standout of the tour was the visit to the Cai Rang floating market, a truly memorable experience. The lunch provided on the first day was not only delicious but also a highlight of the culinary aspect of the journey. Having a free evening in Can Tho allowed for exploration of the night market, adding a pleasant touch to the overall experience. However, some activities, such as the royal jelly and temple visit, didn't resonate as much with my preferences.

Mekong Delta with Floating Market 2 Days: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ho Chi Minh City.
How much does Mekong Delta with Floating Market 2 Days cost?
+
Prices start at $179 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ho Chi Minh City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mekong Delta with Floating Market 2 Days take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ho Chi Minh City is not rushed.
Is Mekong Delta with Floating Market 2 Days worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ho Chi Minh City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mekong Delta with Floating Market 2 Days?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mekong Delta with Floating Market 2 Days suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mekong Delta with Floating Market 2 Days?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ho Chi Minh City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mekong Delta with Floating Market 2 Days start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ho Chi Minh City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ho Chi Minh City?
+
On Outty we rank every Ho Chi Minh City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cai Be Mekong Delta Tour: Cooking Class, Cycling & Craft Villages, Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Tour From HCM, Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta 1 Day Tour With Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ho Chi Minh City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ho Chi Minh City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Mekong Delta with Floating Market 2 Days?
+
Included: Lunch or dinner as specified in the itinerary; Local English-speaking guide; Sightseeing as specified in the itinerary; Lunch; and Transport by airconditional vehicles. Not included: Gratuities; Meals not listed; and Single Room supplement 39USD/person. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
