Alfonso was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable. Thank you for providing us with him as a tour guide.

Alfonso our tour guide was an excellent guide with us the whole time when we went to Vandara Tour. We learned alot about the Costa Rican culture and had a great doing Ziplining, riding horses, going on the water slide and doing Mud bath's and rinsing off in the Hot Springs, it was time we will never forget. Alsono was there with us the whole time, whether we was completing Zipling or going to the Water slide he was always there with us offering to take pictures or some of our personal belongings. He even picked us up from our AirBNB home. Thank you for providing a great experience along with a great tour guide.

Response from the operator: Sweet!! Thank you so much for this amazing review, this helps us to grow up, Happy to cater to you.. Pura Vida.. Best regards Jairo

    Alex is the best guide!!

It was absolutely the best experience! We almost cancelled as we had had a very bad night of sleep and were exhausted but Jairo assured us that we could decided what we wanted to do and end early if necessary. So glad that we didn’t cancel! Our guide, Alex, was fantastic and helped us enjoy a low-key day with all the flexibility that we needed after a bad night of sleep. He shared a lot of great information and stories and made excellent suggestions that we thoroughly enjoyed. We rode horses and walked through the hanging bridges as well as stopped for souvenirs and a coffee tasting stop. The authentic Costa Rican lunch was one of our favorites! We could have done more and would have if we weren’t so tired. Definitely would highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Response from the operator: Amazing.. Thank you so much for trusting us, we do our best to cater you. Pura Vida.. God bless you!!

Great Time at Dreams Costa Rica!

If you're staying at Dreams, this is the outfit to use! In a country I was unfamiliar with, Jairo personally picked us up from the airport with a driver and brought us to Dreams. All of our boating excursions were right off the beach of Dreams. He made us feel safe in his country from walking out the door of the airport until we flew out. He is a great english speaker, local to the town and knew everybody! Anything we could dream of doing, he made it happen. Great snorkeling, boating, FISHING, and giant scallops on the half shell prepared on the boat. Monkeys, sloths, and frogs! Jairo took care of us the entire week with awesome adventures, trained guides, and transportation. I'm going back and using his service again.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for everything, see you soon! Pura Vida

Amazing Family Adventures - 10/10 Experience!

Our experience with Jairo (Jairo Tours) was nothing short of incredible! As a group of 11, including children, we were all very pleased with the variety and excitement of the activities offered. Jairo and his partner picked us up from Dreams Las Mareas Resort, and though the drive was almost two hours, it was well worth it. The first stop was Mirador Punta Descartes Restaurant, for photos with the most picturesque views of the lush green forests. Jairo also shared the history of Costa Rica which added depth to our journey, making the drive both informative and enjoyable. The adventure continued at Rincón de la Vieja with zip-lining through stunning canopies to horseback riding across scenic trails. We had a thrilling tubing experience, then indulged in a mud bath, and finally soaked in various hot springs leaving even the little ones feeling exhilarated and relaxed! Jairo took amazing photos to help us capture these unforgettable moments :-) The day was perfectly punctuated with a delicious buffet lunch. We highly recommend Jairo Tours to anyone looking for an eventful, memorable day in Costa Rica with a kind and considerate guide like Jairo. It's a 10/10 experience, and we can happily check off our bucket list!!

Response from the operator: I am so Happy to hear from you that had a great time in our country, thank you so much for supporting the local community, it was a pleasure to assist you, hope all of you guys are well.. God bless you!! Att, Jairo, from Jairo Tours In Costa Rica..

Megacombo Adventure,Ziplining,Waterslide,Hotspring. Among others: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Playa Hermosa.

How much does Megacombo Adventure,Ziplining,Waterslide,Hotspring. Among others cost?

    +

Prices start at $300 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Playa Hermosa usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Megacombo Adventure,Ziplining,Waterslide,Hotspring. Among others take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Playa Hermosa is not rushed.

Is Megacombo Adventure,Ziplining,Waterslide,Hotspring. Among others worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Playa Hermosa, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Megacombo Adventure,Ziplining,Waterslide,Hotspring. Among others?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Megacombo Adventure,Ziplining,Waterslide,Hotspring. Among others suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Megacombo Adventure,Ziplining,Waterslide,Hotspring. Among others?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Playa Hermosa can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Playa Hermosa and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Megacombo Adventure,Ziplining,Waterslide,Hotspring. Among others start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Playa Hermosa within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Playa Hermosa?

    +

On Outty we rank every Playa Hermosa experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include La Leona waterfall adventure hike half day, White Water River Rafting Class III-IV from La Fortuna-Arenal, Guachipelin Zipline, River Tubing, Horseback Ride, Hot springs & Lunch Combo. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Playa Hermosa?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Playa Hermosa?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
