What you get

    About this experience

Experience Sedona in a different way—not just seeing the landscape, but actually feeling it. This is a grounded, approachable meditation experience held outdoors among the red rocks, designed for people who are curious about Sedona’s vortex energy but don’t want anything overly “out there.” You’ll be guided in a way that’s clear, real, and easy to step into—whether you’ve meditated before or not. Your guide, Michele, has been teaching meditation since 2014 and has lived in Sedona for over 20 years. Her background in science and education brings a practical, down-to-earth perspective that helps make the experience both meaningful and accessible. Rather than a tour or lecture, this is a chance to slow down, connect with the landscape, and experience meditation in a way that feels natural and personal. You’ll leave feeling more grounded, more present, and with a simple understanding of how to continue the experience on your own.

Perfect primer to meditation & Sedona!

Michele’s experience was such a valuable part of our trip to Sedona! Her sessions invite you to meditation—and the energy of Sedona in general—in a refreshingly grounded and approachable way. I can’t wait to meditate with her again anytime I’m back in this beautiful and powerful place.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this—it truly means a lot. I love how you described the experience as both grounded and connected to the energy of Sedona. That balance is exactly what I hope people feel when they join me. It doesn’t have to be complicated or mystical to be meaningful—it just has to be real. I’m so glad this was a valuable part of your time here, and I’d absolutely love to sit in stillness with you again the next time Sedona calls you back.

Must do guided meditation with Michele!

We did two different experiences with Michele and both were our favorite experiences of our week in Sedona. Michele’s energy and knowledge are superior. Michele led us through two different meditations; one morning light and one chakra. Her guided meditations brought both of us to a heightened meditative state bringing emotions and calmness. Amazing 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend.

Response from the operator: Thank you for spending your time in Sedona meditating with me! 🙏🏼

    Vortex meditation

Lovely vortex meditation with Michelle, was very welcoming and walked us thru all the steps for meditation in a very peaceful setting. She was wonderful, a great addition to our girls weekend!

    Great way to relax

I went as a solo hiker and I was scared it would be awkward, but it wasn’t. The couple that guides the hike and meditation have the best vibes. The meditation in nature felt amazing.

Response from the operator: 🙏🏼Thank you!

    Be at one with Sedona

We had a wonderful couple of hours with Michelle. This activity can be enjoyed by those who have previously meditated or those who have never done it before. The location in the peace park is an ideal space to be receptive to all things spritual experiencing both nature and inner peace. Michelle is a talented guide to lead you into a state of mindfulness and awareness she puts you at ease to be receptive to the meditative state. Her practice is relateable to all with sound knowledge and experience. If you are visiting Sedona I would highly recommend taking this tour to imerse yourself in this beautiful place.

Response from the operator: Thank you Ian 🙏🏼. I loved meditating with you and Tracy.

Meditate in the Sedona Vortex Energy: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sedona.

How much does Meditate in the Sedona Vortex Energy cost?

    +

Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sedona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Meditate in the Sedona Vortex Energy take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sedona is not rushed.

Is Meditate in the Sedona Vortex Energy worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 77 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sedona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Meditate in the Sedona Vortex Energy?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Meditate in the Sedona Vortex Energy suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Meditate in the Sedona Vortex Energy?

    +

Around 27 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sedona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sedona and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Meditate in the Sedona Vortex Energy start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sedona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sedona?

    +

Sedona's activity market is dominated by off-road jeep tours, and the difference between operators comes down to which trails they are permitted to run. Beyond that: vortex and energy walks, hot air balloon lifts at dawn, stargazing sessions in one of the darkest skies in the country, and Grand Canyon day runs north. We rank on permit access and group size. On Outty we rank every Sedona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Grand Canyon Complete Tour from Sedona or Flagstaff, Sedona’s ONLY Guided ATV Tour: Western Red Rock Backcountry, Sedona Off-Road Jeep Tour: Rugged Western Canyons & Wildlife. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sedona?

    +

March to May and September to November. Summer afternoons bring monsoon storms. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sedona?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
