    Discovering Morocco

My girlfriend and I spent three fantastic days with Hicham, the guide who took us on this beautiful experience. He drove us from Marrakesh to the Sahara Desert to the Dades Gorges and then took us back to the airport. It was a fantastic guide, very helpful, knowledgeable and nice. We really recommend it to everyone.

A road trip to discover Morocco

We have just concluded a 12-day tour of Morocco with Medina Travel and we can only recommend it! The journey began in Marrakech, with its colours, scents and the liveliness of the medina that immediately captures you. Before arriving at the Dades Gorges we also visited the beautiful Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a truly suggestive and fascinating place. From there we moved to the spectacular Dades Gorges and the Todra Gorges, breathtaking landscapes that look like something out of a movie. The Merzouga desert experience was undoubtedly one of the most magical moments. Dominating the dunes aboard an off-roader and getting to know the local people better, is something we will always carry with us. The tour continued towards Fes, a charming and authentic city, rich in history and traditions. We also made a short stop at the imperial city of Meknes and the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis. The journey ended in the wonderful Chefchaouen, the famous “blue city”, and the Akchour Falls. Special thanks to Hicham, our driver, always punctual, professional, nice and kind, and Mohamed, the owner, who guided us with great competence in the medina of Fes making the visit even more interesting and authentic. Impeccable organization, always helpful and competent guide, and a well-structured itinerary that allows you to experience Morocco in all its facets.

Morocco tour feedback for Medina travel agency and the driver.

I strongly recommend Medina travels for anyone considering Morocco tour. We did the 8 day tour from Tangier to Marrakesh and loved every aspect of it. Mohammed is easy to work with in terms of suggesting options for the tour, and defining the logistics. And a shout out to our driver , Hicham. He is a great driver, never felt a bump. And when we didn't have reservation at a famous restaurant, Hicham talked to the staff and got us the table. Overall, very happy with both the agency and the driver.

Medinas & Nature: Fez to Sahara Desert and Marrakech: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fez.

How much does Medinas & Nature: Fez to Sahara Desert and Marrakech cost?

    +

Prices start at $743 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fez usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Medinas & Nature: Fez to Sahara Desert and Marrakech take?

    +

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fez is not rushed.

Is Medinas & Nature: Fez to Sahara Desert and Marrakech worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Fez, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Medinas & Nature: Fez to Sahara Desert and Marrakech?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Medinas & Nature: Fez to Sahara Desert and Marrakech suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Medinas & Nature: Fez to Sahara Desert and Marrakech?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fez can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fez and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Medinas & Nature: Fez to Sahara Desert and Marrakech start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fez within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Fez?

    +

On Outty we rank every Fez experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Fes to Marrakech desert tour 3 days, Fes to Marrakech: Merzouga & Ait Ben Haddou, 3 Days 2 Nights, 2Days groupe Tour Fes To Fes Or Marrakech Via Sahara Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Fez?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Fez?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
